I Need to Think of Better Titles.. I'm Really Sorry

-Luna's POV-

It honestly came as a surprise to me, what Gerard asked me that is. Instead of standing there and gaping at him, I climb under the covers and pull him close to me. It was like everything good and okay was under the covers and everything big and bad was around us. No one can really understand the way it feels too be in the same bed as someone you love until it actually happens, you feel their warmth or in my case I feel Gerard still shivering from his dream and it just makes me want to protect him. "Gerard, what were you dreaming?" I regret asking the second the words leave my lips.
"It was nothing." He pulls away from me and turns his back against me.
I pull him towards me again and wrap my arms around him, "Well, for nothing you won't stop shaking. Tell me? It doesn't have to be in full detail but maybe if you tell me you will feel better."
He stiffens and still won't look at me, "I was dreaming about a person who killed themselves and when I saw them it kinda of reflected onto me and instead of him dying it was me." I let out a breath which I hadn't even known I was holding in.
"Is that it?" I rub his back with my thumb, trying to get him to relax a little.
"Yeah." He leans against my thumb, "Luna, have you ever felt like you were running behind everyone and everything and by the time you even come close to catching up they are already a mile ahead of you? And when you finally reach being close to them you are out of breath, tired and only to find out they are already running and leaving you again?"
"I do and I feel like that a lot sometimes but then I remember that I have you to walk by when everyone else is running." I start to run my finger through his soft black hair and I feel him relax almost immediately.
"Luna?" His voice husky with sleep.
"Yeah?"
"Do you think Frank likes me?"
I giggle at his question, "I know for a fact that he does. He wouldn't be beat the shit out of the dude who hit you if he didn't"
"Okay and Luna?"
"Yes, Gerard?" I feel like I'm talking to a little tired, sad, five year-old boy who lost his mom and the check out section.
"Do YOU like me?"
I rest my forehead again the back of him neck, the strands of his hair tickling my nose, "I do. You make me feel happy and safe. You tell me everything and I do the same. You are kind, gentle, sweet, funny, smart. You are so many of these things and more."
"Really think that?" He says it slurred.
"I know that." I state.
"I love you, Luna. You are my best friend, sister, girlfriend, all mixed into one."
"Gerard, I'm not your girlfriend you dork."
"Well, if I do get one or if Frank finally does ask me out, I want her and I to have the same relationship as you and me do. You know what I mean?"
"Whatever you dork. You're rambling. Go to sleep."
"Okay, Luna. Goodnight."
After a few minutes his light snores fill the quiet room. I sigh and keep myself close to him, "You know what else you are? You're my beautiful broken boy." My eyelids seem to get more and more heavier each time I blink. "Goodnight Gerard." I kiss the back of his neck lightly and finally give into the need for slumber.

-Franks POV-

I don't head for Gerard's house right away instead I decide to go to the mall and grab some coffee. Trying to lose myself in my comics and coffee, I am suddenly startled by a big hand on the table and I realize it's attached to a grinning afro guy. "Hey, what are you doing here?" He gives me a crooked grin.
I wave my hand at the coffee and comics, "Oh you know. Debating on how I should destroy all man kind." I am rewarded with a smirk and a punch to the shoulder. "What are you doing here?"
"I just came here to do the same as you. Do you mind if I join you?"
"Yeah, I do. You know why because I don't your crazy afro getting in the way." I snap at him playfully only for him to take it as a 'dude what you waiting for? Get your ass on that chair.'
"Don't hate the fro, bro." He chuckles, "So seriously what are you doing here?"
"Nothing, I guess, just reading my comics and trying to forget my worries in my coffee. You?"
"I hang out here from time to time. It's quiet and peaceful."
I raise an eyebrow, "You don't seem like the quiet and peaceful type."
"Yeah, and sometimes when I really in the mood I go out to the forest and read Shakespeare to the woodland animals."
"Don't give me sarcasm, Ray." I try to keep my face serious but I end up laughing anyways.
"What? Me?" He lays a hand on his chest as if actually offended/
"Yes you." I laugh again.
"You're weird." He pauses only to add, "In the good way of course. We should hang out sometime."
"Yeah, that would be awesome. Maybe, I could introduce you to Gerard and Luna."
"Totes, and I could bring Monroe along too."
"When do you wanna meet up?"
He cocks his head to the side, "How about Saturday?"
"At the forest? Would you like me to bring my copy of Hamlet?" I snort at him.
"Only if you want." He chuckles, "Nah, we can go to the skate park or something."
'Sounds coolio to me." As I say it Ray looks over my shoulder to someone standing behind me.
"Welp, there's Monroe. I bet bounce but I'll see you at school and we can trade phone numbers. Cool?"
I shrug and nod, obviously playing it cool, "Sounds okie dokie to me."
"Okaaaaay. See you later, Frank, don't get to caught up in destroying the world okay?"
I smirk, "As long as you don't read Romeo and Juliet to the woodland animals."
With a shrug and an eye roll he goes to catch up with the same girl he did earlier at the school. I look at my phone and see that it's almost ten so I grab my comics and coffee and head to Gerard's.
