I Don't Love You

*Mikey's POV*

I waited outside in front of the school waiting for Gerard. I thought he would have gotten out first considering he gets out before me considering I’m a freshman and he’s a sophomore. I thought I had seen him walking out of the school a couple minutes ago. I looked around trying to decide where he would have been. I saw a big oak tree and a back pack underneath it. I walked towards the tree and noticed that the bag was Gerard’s. so I was right, he had been here. But where did he go? I thought to myself.

I saw Frank Iero coming out of the building with his hands in his pocket. I knew he hung out with Gerard all day because I saw them sitting together at lunch, I could have been a nice brother and sat with him, but I honestly still don’t know Gerard all that well. I walked over to Frank.

“Hey Frank!” I called out to him. he stopped walking and took his headphones out.

“Yeah Mikey?” He asked me.

“Have you see Gerard? We’re supposed to go home together and my parent would kill me if I showed up at home without him.” It was kinda douche for me to only think about myself but come on; Gerard can’t be in that much trouble. Can he?

“No, I’m sorry I haven’t seen hi-“ Frank abruptly stopped talking. He was staring at Gerard’s backpack with wide eyes. “Hey MIkey,” he asked slowly. “Have you seen either Cobalt or Bob?”

I looked at him confused. “No why?” Then it came to me. Cobalt and Bob bullied Frank because he was gay. Frank and Gerard were walking together this morning. They must of run into Frank and Gerard. “You don’t think they did something to him do you?”

Frank gasped aloud. “Holy shit Mikey! Cobalt and Bob said that they were going to beat up Gerard after school because they couldn’t beat us. They must have gotten him when he was waiting for you.” Frank was pacing and pulling on his hair. I knew Frank’s habits and this was a bad one.

I gently pulled his hands from his head. “Frank,” I whispered. “We will find him okay? I will get the help of Ray so all three of us can look for him alright?” He nodded and I let go of his hands. Just then I saw Ray and signaled him over. “Yo Ray we need your help.”

“Okay, with what?” That’s the thing about Ray, if you asked him for help you would do it no matter what the help was.

”Gerard is missing and we thing Cobalt and Bob might have something to do with it. We need to go and search for him. Will you help us find him?” HE nodded, I knew he would. “Okay, we need to split up. Ray you go check inside the school, do the first floor check all the bathrooms and classrooms. Hells even check the lockers. Frank, you get the second floor. I’ll get where the old equipment shed is. If you see him call both of us. You got it?” Everyone nodded and we went our separate ways.

I walked to the back of the school where the old equipment shed is. It had rained the night before; I noticed there were two sets of foot prints walking towards the shed. I knew then that Gerard had to be there. I slowly opened the door and peeked inside. It was dark. I opened the door to let sunlight in. The first thing I noticed was the blood. There was a lot of blood. The second thing I noticed was there was no body.

Gerard was not in here.
