I'm Okay Now

I walked into the house with Alicia ranting in my ear about how epic this party is going to be, when all I really wanted to do was take a nap. I was up all night last night writing a huge essay for school and now all I wanted to do was catch up on sleep. I didn't want to tell Ali that because she is really excited for tonight and the last thing I want to do is disappoint her. I was also excited as well but that still doesn't change the fact that I'm tired as all hell.
Before I knew it a lot of people where in the backyard my house and dancing to the rock music that was blasting threw the speakers. It was only 9pm and more then half of them where drunk. I'm suppressed Gerard hasn't come home yet either, he's usually home by now. Maybe he went to go cool off at the bar. And when Alicia said that their would only be 30 people here, she lied. At least half of the grade was shoved togather in the ways backyard. The music got louder and the dancing got hotter. All of a suddenly all of the tiredness I was feeling earlier completely vanished as the music took control of my body.
"Hey Katy!" I heard Kendall scream over the music, and within a matter of seconds she was standing right in front of me with her usual brown curly hair, straight. "Here, drink this!" She spoke as she handed me a shot glass. I was very hesitant weather to drink the alcohol because the last thing I wanted to do was disappoint Gerard, but I figured one can't hurt, right? I took the small glass from her and within a matter of seconds the cup was empty.
"Whoo" I sighed as I handed the glass back to Kendall who was starting to get tipsy. I don't know what happened next, but all I remembered was I ended up dancing on top of the picnic table in their yard. Everything started to go a little blurry and nothing seemed real. It was as if I was dreaming right now. The next thing that I noticed was Chris, Alicia's ex and a senior who I met a few times, was dancing right beside me, getting closer and closer to me with each step.
"Hey kat. You look hot tonight. As always" he said in a deep raspy voice. No I didn't look hot, I looked sluty in the short dress that Alicia forced me into wearing. And he was only over here to get in my pants. Sorry not happening.
"Hey Chris." I responded trying not to be rude.
"Awesome party your throwing. I didn't know you had such a wild side"
"Well what can I say. I love to party!"
"Really? Care to dance?"
"I already have a boyfriend, sorry." I said, hesitantly. But a big part of me wanted to go out dancing on more tables, take more shots, and forget that this night ever happened. Gerard would get so disappointed in me, I can't. But what if I'm still under control. If I don't get too drunk and I can still see straight and I'll have full control out of my actions. I looked a Chris and he seemed a little hurt. "But... We can dance as friends" suddenly all the hurt in his eyes vanished and was replaced with a smile.
I followed him off the table and into the center of the large group of people where the music is the loudest as we all danced along to falling in reverses "fashionably late".
"Katy! Katy! Katy!" The crowd cheered as I let everything loose. The only thing that was controlling my body was the music. Things started to get heated when "you shook me all night long"started blaring threw the speakers. Everyone turned their jumping into dirty dancing, as well as Chris. His hands started moving up and down the sides of my arm. I didn't feel uncomfterable since he was only touching my arm, so I let him continue with his fun. But once when the chorus started I could feel his hands move down to my waist.
"Chris, I already told you. I have a boyfriend" I said, feeling alittle more in comfterable.
"I don't see anyone with you. Except for me" he whispered suductivly in my ear. Now his hands where trailing lower and lower down my back and I was starting to feel violated.
"Chris! Please get off of me!"
"But your so beautiful, baby!"
"What for!? my ass!?"
"Well don't get me wrong, you do have a nice ass. But you- lyour such a sweet girl"
"Your only saying that to move this party into my pants!" I spat at him.
"Hey, every guy is wishing to have sex with you. Damn girl have you seen yourself!? Your the total package!"
"Fuck off Chris!"
"Hey. No need to cuss baby. I got ya" and with one quick movement his hand was on my ass. I was too surprised to even swipe it away right then. Usually Chris is really sweet and kind hearted, but now he's just being a dick.
"Chris's your drunk" I yelled at him. I saw about to go slap his hand to get it off of me, only to find out someone beat me to it.
"Dude the girl asked you to leave her alone!" An all familiar voice shouted who was no other than Mikey.
"And who do you think you are!? Her boyfriend!?"
"No, I'm her step brother." Looks like Alicia did a good job at filling him in with the whole plan thing. "Now do what she says and get the fuck off of her"
"But she's so fucking hot" he slurred as I started to feel a bit insulted, but Mikey caught on quickly.
"Don't you mean beautiful? Show girls some respect. Maybe that's why Alicia dumbed your sorry ass" fuck this can't turn out good. And I was right. Chris' eyes filled with anger and frustration as he used all his force to fist punch right at Mikeys face.
