I'm Okay Now

**four weeks later**
**katys pov**
It's been almost a month and me and gees relationship is stronger then ever and grows every day. And for Mikey and Alecia? Well it's oviously that their madly in love. Their also the it couple at our school that everyone envies. And apparently I'm considered one of the most 'popular' students at my school, but I'm not the kind of person that let that get too my head. I'm friends with everyone in the group and their all really nice but I'm diffrent from them. They wear heels and I wear converse. They wear dresses I wear band merch. They talk about boys, I talk about fictional characters and etc. Even though we are completely diffrent we all get along quite well. And if your wondering about lily, she's part of the group too so I get too see her a lot which is good. Everything in my life seems to be heading in the right direction and I couldn't feel better. And speaking about be ing happy almost all of my depression and nightmares have gone away. I was defiantly in the right spot and it was as if I never cry end a tear in my whole life! It was almost as if I was unstoppable.
My heavy eyelids fluttered open and emmidetly met contact with the clock. 6:45. Considering I went to sleep really early, I wasn't tired so I slowly disattached myself from Gerard's arm, trying not to wake him, as I made my way to my room where all my belongings are. I threw on my favorite galaxy dress and my black converes before applying a thin layer of eyeliner before making my way downstairs. Since I was the first one up I decided to make breakfast for everyone.
The look on Gerard's face when he saw that I was up before him was priceless. I don't blame him considering I'm not a morning person and I practically have to be dragged out of bed every morning for school.
"Well good morning!" He said with a smile on his face, fixing his tie. He leaned in and kissed me on the check which made my checks glow 100 shades of red. "I'm surprised to see you up this early" he didn't look the same. It wasn't long for me to figure it out that the smile on his face faded. He always smiles.
"I was not tired. Is everything okay?" I asked
"Um yea. I just don't like waking up and not seeing you next to me. That's all"
"Well now you know what my pain feels like every morning" I joked, trying not to let my giant ass smile get the best Of my speech.
"Sorry hon, not my fault you sleep in till like.... 11 every morning"
"Hey I'm a teenager what can you expect" I smirked as I playfully hit him in the arm then smashing his soft lips against mine. This was never something I've gotten used to, but in the best way possible. Everytime I kiss him It feels as if it was our first. I still get the in ontrollable butterfly's in my stomach and the my heat skips a beat everythime i look at him. I never used to believe in love, of at least Untill I met him. Everything about him can make me happy in my darkest days and I still feel like a middle school kid with a giant crush on a guy. I'm not complaining. It's the best feeling in the world.
"Oh gee?"
"Yes, love?"
"I was wondering if I could have some friends over tonight, and a couple stay for a sleepover... If that's too much I understand" I said, not wanting to make myself too much at home, even though I lived here for about 3 months, I still don't want to invade his privacy "we can always have it at Alicia's hou-"
"Nope that's fine!" He said cutting me off
"Really? Are you sure? Because I don't want to-"
"Katerine, I told you I'm completely ok with it. Just don't do anything I wouldn't approve of."
"Thank you so much Gerard!" I squealed as I threw myself into his arms, feeling his warm muscular chest up against mine. I gave him one last kiss before he grabbed his jacket and left to go to work, leaving the smell of his coffee lingering throughout the air.
It would be another 30 minutes until Mikey woke up, so I sat down with my herbal tea and spent those 30 minutes thinking. I thought about everything, but mostly the way how my life was a complete mess after my mom died and up to the part of where I met Gerard. He saved me from my self destruction and he says I saved him from his addiction to alcohol. Funny how that works. It was as if we where meant for each other. It sure as hell feels like it.
When Michael arrived downstairs he was just as shocked as Gerard finding out that I woke before him. This was actually the first school day morning that I woke up and didn't feel the need to kill someone.
"Good morning mike!" I said with a "bitch, you surprised?" Grin on my face.
"Umm excuse me? Have you seen a girl named kate? She's 17, brown hair, and absolutely hates the mornings" he replied with an ear to ear smile spread everywhere along his jaw. I let out a laugh as I tossed him a box of cereal.
"Eat up. Your going to be late for school" I joked. He says that to me every morning and now it's my turn to say it to him. It was a matter of seconds before the door opened and in stepped Alicia, with her beautiful newly colored hair.
Yesterday she came over asking me to bleach her hair because she was bored of having dirty blond hair. Now she wanted a lighter shade of blond. And me being my hair dye obsessed self, was more then happy to do so. I sat her down the chair in the bathroom and the way she was all tensed up made it clear that she was nervous.
"Have you ever dyed your hair before?" I asked her, already knowing the answer.
"No, I've always been too scared, but now I think I'm ready. You only live once, right?"
The whole time I was running the bleach threw her thick hair, she would let out a whimper. Once when she washed it out and dryed her hair, it was like a whole new her! She was very impressed by her new hair color and I absolutely loved it. After her new blond hair was all dry she wanted to dye the ends of her hair pink. So I did. And may I say, she looks incredible.
She stood in the doorway of the ways house with a smile on her face and her blond hair tied back in a ponytail. Everything about her screamed perfection. She would be that girl in the movies that everyone worships and envies. Well technically she is that girl. The way she walked over to Mikey in her 5 inch heels, it was as if she was floating on air, she made it so easy. And me? I can't wear heels to save my life! I wore them once to a party. Worst mistake of my life. I ended up shoeless half of the time because I coup on falling over. That's when I sprained my ankle in front of almost everyone in school. First and last time anyone will see me in heels. After she was done with her make out session she walked over to me with a lipgloss smile on her face.
"Hey Katy kat! Are we still in for tonight!?"
"Yep! I asked gee and he said he is completely ok with all of it!"
"Great I already have the invite list set up. Your backyard would be perfect to party in!" I gave her a bright smile in return. I always loved to party, and I'm known for being the fun wild party animal when it comes to high school party's so clearly I was excited for tonight. Everything tonight should go as planned. Alicia came up with this bright idea that if you come, then you have to pay 5$ and I thought that was really clever since I don't have a job to pay for everything, and Alicia is only working a little above minimum wage. So far about 10 people said that they where coming so hopefully tonight won't be a fail.

It's going to be really hard to explain how sorry I am in just one sentence. I had so many projects due this week but I finally got most of them out of the way. Why can't teachers understand that we also get projects from other classes!? And can't they at least assign them on different weeks!? That would make me a lot less stressed. Ok anyway I really am trying to post as often as I can but it's really hard to do so. I really don't want to let you guys down. I love you<3
