I'm Okay Now

**Katy's pov**
*the next morning*
When I woke up the next morning Gerard wasent here. I looked over at the clock that read 9pm. I was really confused why Mikey didn't wake me up for school then I remembered that Gerard left for work and let me and Mikey stay home for the day. Even if I tryed I wouldent be able to wipe off the huge smile on my face that was brought because of what happened last night. I practically dragged myself out of bed and stumbled down the stairs with my messy bed head. I felt the cold hardwood floor beneath my feet as they carried me into the kitchen. Since Mikey would be up soon I better start cooking breakfast for me and him, and how would I tell my best friend that I'm dating his brother? I got out the waffle mix from the cabinet and mixed it with water and milk before placing in in the waffle iron still with a permanent smile across my face. As soon as I shut the lid I turned around to find Mikey right behind me. I could tell he knew that something was different.
"Good morning!" He said as I threw myself into his arms for a good morning hug "why in such a good mood" he asked while slowly putting his arms around me returning the hug. I didn't know how to tell him the right way so replied saying nothing hoping he would catch on and continue to ask so I wouldn't have to come out and say it. I pulled out of the hug and put my hands behind my back keeping my eyes on my feet and started to sway back and forth like a little innocent kid.
"Katy tell me what's up" he said with a huge smile on his face. As I did in return. But then all of a sudden I dropped my smile and became serious
"Your brother asked me out" I said in a serious almost sad tone hoping I could do a good job at teasing him.
"And what did you say!"
"Do you really think I would say yes? He's my teacher it would be-" but he cut me off before I could finish
"Katy this is diffrent!" He said sounding a little mad
"I know" I replied with a small smile reforming on my lips "that's why I sAID YES!" His face went from completely confused to excited as all hell in a matter of seconds.
"Are you serious!?" He replied whail grabbing my hand and I couldent help but smile and nod. Before I knew it we where both jumping up and down like fangirls we are. I was then pulled into another hug
"I knew this would happen, I'm really happy for you guys" he said
"I'm happy too"
Mikey and I practically spent the rest of the day on the couch watching horror movies. I got so caught up in the suspense that I didn't even notice that Gerard came home from work so when I felt someone grab my neck from behind me I literally screamed at the top of my lungs that could be heard for miles. I turned over to see Gerard and Mikey laughing their asses of.
"Asshole!" I yelled in a playfully tone as they continued to laugh at their success on scaring me, feeling my face grow red. I was mad but playfully mad. Ugh it's like sharing the house with two 6 year olds I swear. I rolled my eyes and faced the front of the tv trying to focus my attention on the movie, only to find Gerard throw himself over the couch landing next to me, I begain to smile when he put his arm around my shoulder.
"How was work" I asked being a few inches away from him face
"It was great thank you, how was your day off?"
"It was fun! We threw a party and like everyone was here. Thank goodness Mikey had his fake id, I don't know how boring the party would have been without the beer. It's a good thing we cleaned up before you got home. Geez that would have been a disaster!" I joked but suddenly he because very serious "I'm kidding" I said making sure that he knew that I was only joking, which he did and crashed my lips onto his as he kissed back pashionitaly and that was enoughf to return his smile back to where it belongs. We where interrupted by the buzzing of Mikey's phone. When I pulled apart and looked at him and saw him smililing, looking down at his screen.
"Do you mind?" Gerard asked being a little pissed off that our kiss was interrupted.
"Sorry dude, it's not my fault Alicia digs me" he said with a smirk on his face almost laughing as he begain to replie to the message.
"So when are you gonna ask her out?" I asked him hoping i could get some details at his skinny love relationship.
"I don't know, I still have to keep talking to her so I can know her more. But hopefully soon" I nodded and looked back up at Gerard noticing that I messed up his hair by gently pulling on it when we where kissing. I fixed it, then continued messing it up again.

Me and Mikey continued our horror movie wail Gerard was upstairs doing something. To be honest I wasn't paying attention so what he said because I was too distracted by how beautiful he was. Honestly I've been waiting for him to ask me out ever since we first kissed but I guess he was just waiting for the right time which thankfully did happen. I remember it clearly now, it was as if it just happened. His shiny hazel eyes where staring into mine so deeply I could have passed out, but something kept me holding on to consciousness. He started to speak in a low husky whisper, (which was the sexiest thing ever btw), "will you go out with me." He asked. On the inside I was flipping the fuck out and my mind was yelling things like 'OMG he just asked you out' and 'say YESSSS!!!!! Have you seen how attractive he is! He's also super sweet and caring! Practically your dream guy!' And my mind was right, he was my dream guy. I don't know how long he went without an answer because I got so distracted getting lost in his eyes too lost to focus on the question but when I snapped back into reality I remember leaning over to kiss him and whispering yes against his lips.
Once when the movie was over I walked upstairs to get ready for bed. My feet carried down the hallway And stopped at Gerard's bedroom door, I heard guitar playing start. It was really soft and it made me even more tired, but it was also so beautiful I just dident want to go to sleep in fear I might miss it. I stood just outside the door so incase he saw me he wouldn't stop playing. The song started to play as did his singing. I always knew Gerard had such a nice beautiful voice but I dident know it was this nice. Usually he's lying down with my head on his shoulder singing me a lullaby when I hear him sing but now it was as if he was performing infront of millions giving his all. It was hard to understand the lyrics to the song because I was hearing threw a wall but I made out some of them.

I dident even realise I was swaying back and fourth to the melody of the song until he stopped playing. Shit did he see me!? I heard his heavy footsteps walk towards the door. Crap.
"Did- where- how long where you out here for" he asked when he saw me standing in the doorway.
"You have such a beautiful voice and you're practically magic with that guitar" I said avoiding the quiestion in fear it would make him mad. Even though Gerard doesn't get mad and I know something like that wouldn't bother him I really didn't want to test out our new relationship.
"Thanks, but you dident ans-"
"Did you wright that song your self" I cut him off, still avoiding the question.
"Umm ya, well I got a little help from Mikey, but other then that-"
"You're really artistically talented"
"Thanks. A lot kate it really means a lot to me to hear you say that"
"Well I'm only speaking the truth" I added letting him put his arm around me as we both walked into the room and crawled into bed almost falling asleep right away.

"Sorry katy you have to go too school today" Gerard said trying to wake me up. Oh right. I forgot. School. This would be my first day back in 3 weeks and I wasent looking foward too it considering I live with everyone I would look foward too seeing at school. And there's lily too but we don't have any classes togather so there's no point. I looked up to see Gerard standing before me all dressed and ready to leave since he had to be there sooner then the students. Still feeling tired I rolled around in the blankets making myself in a cocoon of covers but apparently Gerard wasent up for my shit today. He grabbed a hold of the white cover and pulled at it in a great speed sending me flying in the air and falling off the bed. Well I would have crashed against the floor if it wasent for Gerard catching me just in time.
"Thanks gee" I said in a sarcastic half-asleep voice while leaning in to give him a quick kiss before he lifted me up back on my feet.
"I'll see you at school" he said walking out of the blue room and turning back at me one more time. I gave him a quick nod and he shut the grey door behind me. I quickly got dressed in blue shorts and a white tee, brushing my new brownish hair and applied my eyeliner before walking down the stairs not being surprised to find that Mikey already had breakfast finished.
"Here" he said whail tossing me a bowl of cereal with strawberry's "hurry up where gonna be late"
"Thanks" I replied and shoved the cereal in my mouth bit by bit.

"So how does it feel to be dating the new music teacher" Mikey joked.
"Well when you put it like that it makes me sound like a whore"
"Eh" I heard him reply, he knew I was right.
"Umm I have a question"
"Shoot" he replied
"Your probably going to start laughing or call me a whore again"
"Hey! I never called you a whore! I just agreed with you that's all. And also I don't judge so I'm all ears"
"Well" I begin "how old is Gerard?" Well I was right about his reaction, Mikey was laughing, a lot actually. More then necessary but then again I don't blame him.
"It's okay, geez, ill calm down now. Whoo! He's 21 so technically you're dating a pedifile"
"you know usually I'm not into older guys but gee is diffrent"
"how so"
"something about him. I don't know what but when ever I'm around him I feel like nothing els exists"
"it's called being I'm love" he commented
"I guess your right" I said taking in a deep sigh "love"
