“C-Can I come in?” Mikey asked nervously. He kept anxiously fidgeting with his hands. Gee was about to invite him in when he saw a small black suitcase sitting behind him.

“Why do you have a bag?”

“Mom and Dad kind of, um… kicked me out,” he mumbled, avoiding eye contact.

“Why would they do that?” Gerard asked, inviting Mikey in and sitting on the couch with him.

“I-I’m gay,” he paused, waiting for some sort of outburst from Gee. When it didn’t come, he continued, “They said that as long as I was under their roof, I could only like girls. In a moment of stupidity, I packed my bag, walked outside, and when they tried to get me back inside I said ‘I’m not under your roof anymore, so I can love whoever I want’.”

“Mikey, that wasn’t stupid. It was really brave, and I’m so proud of you,” Gee said, pulling Mikey into a hug.

“Y-You’re not mad?”

“No, why would I be? There’s always going to be assholes who don’t accept you, but what kind of brother would I be if I didn’t either?”

“A pretty shitty one,” Mikey laughed.

“You can stay here as long as you need to, Mikes.”

We ended up ordering pizza over the phone and playing board games all night, until I looked at the clock to see it was 1 am. We all decided to go to bed, Mikey offering to take the couch since I was staying over but I told him to go ahead and sleep in the guest room since I would be sleeping with Gee.

"Oh, I see," he said, raising an eyebrow at us.

"Good night, lovebirds," he called and walked off to his room.

"Night, Mikes," Gee replied, his cheeks turning pink.

We brushed our teeth at the bathroom sink together, making faces at each other in the mirror. We laid in bed for a while whispering to each other until finally we fell asleep, our bodies pressed up against each other.

Finally a chapter title that's not MCR related! It might be a while until chapter 6, I've had a lot on my mind lately and I'm finding it hard to focus :c However I'll try my hardest to upload it as soon as possible! <3
