I'm Not Okay (I promise)

As my alarm blared, I sat up and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. First day in a new school. I quickly showered and pulled on my Smashing Pumpkins T-shirt along with my black skinny jeans. I applied a thin layer of eyeliner to complete the look before looking myself over in the mirror. I couldn't help but notice how different I looked. My recently dyed crimson hair, and the body that took the entire summer to achieve. Maybe the bullies wont be looking for me anymore. I think as I lace up my worn out black converse. You see, in my old schools, people would bully and harass me because I was overweight. But the real reason was because you're gay Gerard. I think to myself. Ill keep that hidden for a while. "Gerard hurry up! You're going to be late!" I heard my mom shout from downstairs. I quickly shook off these thoughts as I grabbed all of my suitcases and went downstairs. I found my mother in the kitchen, making pancakes and coffee for the both of us. "Morning!" She said, handing me a mug. "Coffee, mom you're the best" I said as I downed the bittersweet liquid. "You're going to love this school! It was the same one I went to when I was your age" I say nothing but nod as we walk out of the house to the car. You say that I'll love every school, but I never do mom... As we pull up to the school I notice the six sports fields, 3 outdoor pools, and a huge picnic area. There are already a bunch of people getting out of cars and flooding in. I grit my teeth as I walk in and prepare myself for anything that could come my way this year.

Ok so I'm attempting to write my own fanfiction and I would like to know if I should continue!!!!! Pleas tell me any ideas you guys might have or suggestions for that storyline!
