I hope you're enjoying the story so far. As for what Frank is, he's something very hidden and mentioned in one of Gerard Way's comics.Frank doesn't want to admit it because he is ashamed . As you know, he's not a vampire. Or a werewolf. (Maybe he's a draculoid? or a murderbot? or a clone? or none of the above?)

Sorry if the story's confusing right now...but it will make sense soon enough
