Two New Chapters, Same book.

I had a month till the baby and we spent most days with Mikey and Frank. The nursery was all set up and we did it so that if we had more children. We didn’t care what the gender was and like Mikey and Frank we decided that we didn’t want to know Dom or Fertile though we did know we were having a boy.

I was going to have a little boy and Lynz was over the moon. The only thing that she was upset about was the little to no sleep she got. The baby was always kicking or doing something. I had my hands on the bump at all times it seemed.

“Gerard give your wife a break, and when the babies born you can hold him but for crying out loud give her a break” Mikey snapped. He was bitchy all day today and Frank had to go to the school for a second to tell the sub straight. I didn’t have to, I got lucky and got the meanest sub there was.

I moved my hands and they felt colder then normal. Lynz looked up at me like she didn’t mind but oh well. Mikey looked on the edge and like he was about to fall asleep when he knew the twins would be waking any moment.

“Mikey go to bed, if we need anything we can wake you up.” I told him and he nodded. I helped him up and he went to go lay down.

Frank got home and looked pissed. “Where’s Mikey?”

“In bed we thought he needed his rest more then bitching at us” I told him and he nodded and looked at lynz who was cringing slightly.

“false contraction, I think… The doctor said I might deliver early” Lynz said. I walked around and sat next to my wife worried it might be what I thought it was.

Minutes passed by as I waited for the next to come if it did come and it did. As I timed it I knew my son was going to be born early. I was born early so it did no harm.

The third contraction hit and I had to take Lynz to the hospital now.

“Frank go wake up Mikey, tell him were going to the hospital and that Lynz is labor” I was scared shitless right now. We had everything we needed but that didn’t change the fact that I was a bit nervous. Was I even going to be a good father?

Mikey came rushing out, he took Lynz’s hand and nodded at Frank. Frank had said he would stay home with Mae and Ashton while Lynz was in labor and gave birth. Mikey wanted to come and help as much as he could. But that wouldn’t be much.

I wasn’t going to let my brother overwork himself when he to was close giving birth. Though I think he was having a c-section.

“Frank I’ll call you when Lynz’s about to birth so you can see him” Mikey smiled kissed Franked and laughed. “I’m being kicked”

So we headed off to the hospital, I was shaking while Mikey drove and I stayed in the back seat with lynz and the bag we had in the car at all times.

“You ready to become a mother?” I asked as I brushed some hair out of Lynz’s face.

“Hell yes, just get him out of me” My wife moaned and closed her eyes. “The little fucker is going to be big I can tell you that”

“That’s what I thought but Mae was on the slightly larger side for twins” Mikey hummed as we pulled into the hospital.

“Here we go” I whispered in my wives ear.
