Alice stood there not knowing what to do, when a voice was heard.

-What is it Mikey?! Are you alright?!

The voice was getting louder as footsteps were heard on the wooden floor, Alice turned around and saw Gerard's face of realization. He had already changed his wet clothes for a clean plain black t-shirt and black jeans.

-I see you've met Mikey.- he said, laughing a bit.

-Mikey this is Alice, the girl that I told you about. - Had Gerard really told his brother about her? About what? She was honestly not that interesting. Alice blushed a little at this thought.

-Oh!...of course Alice, nice to meet you!.-Mikey said as happy as if nothing had happened.

-Nice yo meet you too Mikey.- said Alice offering him a shy but sincere smile.

-So...Alice, it's a bit cold in here, at least let me give you a blanket!.-beamed Mikey, looking at her still wet clothes.

Suddenly Alice remembered why she was there in the first place, and started to feel her cheeks getting hot again.

-Um...yeah, about that, I was actually going to change my clothes but my backpack with my clothes inside got all wet from the rain.- said Alice failing at sounding the less awkward possible.

-That's no problem! we will lend you some clothes, right Gee?.- said Mikey turning to Gerard who seemed a little bit ashamed to be called that way.- hahaha what? she was going to find out that everyone in our family calls you Gee someday.
Gerard gave him the killer look and then pretending that Mikey hadn't say the last part, he said.

-Of course we can lend you some clothes, follow me. - said Gerard, turning around and heading back to where he came from. Alice followed him to a barely lit room that was on the left of the corridor. Alice stood outside waiting for Gerard and from there she could several band posters on the wall, some really awesome comic-like drawing like the ones he made in class, and she thought that Gerard was one of the most interesting people she had ever met.

After a minute or so, Gerard came out holding a pair of skinny jeans and an Iron Maiden t-shirt, one that Alice had seen Gerard wearing at school.

-They will fit baggy on you, but I guess you'll be comfy.- he said while handing the clothes to Alice and giving her a sweet smile that made Alice's stomach swirl.

-Th-Thanks.- said Alice smiling back to Gerard.

Why did she have to be so shy? she thought while taking her wet clothes off and leaving them to dry on the tub. Mikey and Gerard were being so nice to her and actually Gerard was being really confident comparing his behavior with the one in school, she was sure it was because he was in his house, buy anyways who could be confident on that horrible school. maybe Alice should let herself go more, something told her it was okay, it was okay to be herself around Gerard...

She put on the borrowed clothes and felt the warmness of dry clothes running through her cold back, comforting her. It was true, they were a little baggy but felt really comfy, perfect for a terraton, even the jeans which were actually from the lady gap, Alice smiled when she realize this, cause she knew that Gerard probably didn't found skinny jeans like the ones that guys on rock bands wear, anywhere else in New Jersey.

She checked herself quickly in the mirrow before getting out, she was looking paler than ever and her hair was a mess, she tried to fix it but after realizing there was no hope, she went out and started walking to the living room.

The two boys had already moved the sofas a little to the back and had placed several pillows and blankets on the floor. Gerard was fixing them when Alice got inside the room and he seemed to got distracted looking at her for a second before Mikey spoke.

-So, who wants popcorn?!- beamed Mikey

-Oh, no Mikey. you are not getting neat that microwave never again.- said Gerard.

-wha...why?.- said Mikey.-I thought, I told you it wasn't me like a hundred times!

-Yeah, you did. but I didn't believe it for a second!- said Gerard laughing at Mikeys angry face.

-Okay fine!.-said Mikey.- but I do want some popcorn, and do not burn them like last time, and don't be cheesy and give me some cheddar cheese!

-Worst joke ever Mikey.- said Gerard while Alice started laughing, she felt more comfortable now.- you wanna come with me to the kitchen Alice?.-said Gerard suddenly.
causing Alice to try again not to be awkward.

Yeah, let's go.- she said trying to keep her cool, Gerard smiled again at her but now having a strange look it his eyes.

He then walked outside the room, followed by Alice.
