- So... do you have any music in here? and I not meaning the radio .- asked Alice, trying to calm her nerves from being alone in a car with a guy. she wasn't even used to people.

-Of course! who do you take me for? check in the glove compartment.

Alice did so and smiled widely when she saw the cassettes: Bowie, Pixies, Queen, Iron Maiden , The Smiths and the local heroes: The Misfits.

Alice chose The Smiths quickly, she knew exactly what song they needed.

"Take me out tonight..

-Ah... very appropiate.- said Gerard smiling

"...were there's music and there's people and they're young and alive..."

- yuuup

"...and if a double-decker bus crashes into us, to die by your side is such a heavenly way to die, and if a ten ton truck kills the both of us, to die by your side, well the pleasure, the privilege is minee..."

- You know...although it would suck less to die by your side, it would still suck...-said Gerard blushing a little

- Um...thank you?- Alice chuckled

Was he flirting with her? maybe more like trying to, it was still cute though.

Alice turned to the window thinking about the kiss... it had happened that very morning, it seemed like days ago.

Although she hadn't kissed a lot of boys in her life, she knew that that kiss had been amazing... she bite her lower lip and closed her eyes remembering. Gerard couldn't see her face anyways it was so dark because they were passing by a big park. Again it was really late so there was no one there, the street lamps and trees gave a gloomy to everything, even the kid's swings...

-Gerard...

- yeah?

- Stop right here, in the park

- wha...why?! is something wrong?.- said Gerard turning intermittently at her.

- No, I just wanna go to the park...

- Oh. -said Gerard simply and without another word he just turned and parked the nearest free spot, which was not hard because they were all empty. He turned off the engine and the music stopped playing.

- What now, young lady?.- asked Gerard calmly and curious, not a hint of madness or awkwardness in his voice, he was so patient with her, no one else really was.

- W-well I thought we could go and sit by the swings...it's been ages since I've been on one of those...-said Alice trying her best to sound calmed.

- me too actually... let's go.- he said before opening the door and getting out of the car, Alice did the same.

- you know...- said Alice slowly when they were already sitting on the swings.- I really like hanging out with you...

- I like how you're being so spontaneous.

- me?! spontaneous?! yeah right!.- answered Alice right away.- I'm not usually spontaneous at all believe me.

- I know...that's why.- said Gerard turning to her smiling- he stared deeply into her eyes again, she still couldn't decide if she liked this or not, she wonder if he was one of those people that just stare like that, all the time for no reason. Just like the people that talks really near to your face, you know, for no reason.

- how would you know?.-Alice laughed.- you haven't known me for that long

- Let's just say I know, there are somethings that don't need to be explained.- said Gerard and Alice thought about this for a minute before answering.

- Yeah I suppose that's true.

The weather was kind of cold, but she liked it, she liked to feel her face so cold that she almost couldn't feel her cheeks. It was this happy moments in life that almost seemed melancholic, when things are changing, when you just accept the unknown and you feel free.

- I really like hanging out with you too...-said Gerard.

- Good, I was starting to wonder why are you still here, freezing your ass off.

- hahahahaha.-laugh Gerard loudly, and after a second he then said.- you know actually I am, this metallic swings are literally freezing my ass off.

This time they both burst into laughing.
