Life Happens
Chapter Two
Until I bumped into somebody much smaller than me.
"WHOA," Frank yelped as he fell to floor. Snickering, I offered him my hand, but he refused, getting up on his own dusting off his pants.
"Sorry about that," I said, still slightly laughing.
"It's fine," he replied gruffly.
"Hey you're that new girl in my homeroom aren't you?"
"Uh yeah, your friend Gerard pointed you out to me earlier. What are you doing out here, aren't you supposed to be in class," I replied teasingly.
Still trying to be tough he said," I'm skipping."
Looking down at him I realized he had a bathroom pass tangled around his wrist.
"Really? Then why do you have a bathroom pass," I questioned, watching him struggle for an answer.
"Whatever," he muttered before turning and starting to walk away.
"Wait," I called after him," I need help finding my second period class, can you help me?"
"Let me see your schedule," he snapped.
"What, are you on your period or something? I'm just messing around," I retorted.
"If you want help you should shut your pretty mouth, sweetheart," he replied in a sickeningly sweet voice.
"Fine, just tell me where my fucking class is idiot, and by the way I'll be seeing you at lunch since your friend so graciously invited me to eat lunch with you," I replied, not even trying to keep the venom out of my voice.
"Down the hall, to the left," he shoved my schedule back into my hands and walked past me into the boys' bathroom.
"So much for that crush," I thought as I entered the classroom.
I walked into the cafeteria and searched for Gerard, finding him in the line for cafeteria food. I walked over and took a peek at the food. First of all I think that pizza just moved and second I'd rather eat shit than that.
"Hey Avery, are you eating with us today," Gerard asked, walking forward in the line.
"Yeah, I met Frank today. How did you become friends with him," I asked with a sour face.
"Aw Ave, you just got to get to know him. He can be an asshole sometimes, but I promise you'll love him once you get used to him."
Lunch went on relatively well, with some bickering going on between me and Frank. I met Gerard's brother, Mikey, and one of his other friends, Ray. We talked about music and art, even though I suck at any form of art other than music. I learned they al play instruments other than Mikey, but he was trying to learn bass. Ray plays guitar and so does Frank, Gerard sings, and I play electric guitar also.
The rest of the day was boring and pretty uneventful.
It was when I got home the real events started.

Yay! Avery meets Frank but they kinda don't like each other right now. Yikes. Hopefully this'll gain me some subscribers!
