A Frerard Fanfiction: A Murder Of Crows

Although Frank had wanted to stay at Gerard's overnight until school the next morning, he fervently refused Mrs. Way's offer to have him, to avoid more conflict with his mother.

"Frank, dear, you're more than welcome to stay the night again, if you'd like to" Donna stirred a pot of chopped carrots, bustling about the kitchen in a red and white spotted apron.


""Thanks, but I've really gotta avoid winding up my mum even more" Frank smiled nervously, bending down to tie up his worn black converse.

"Oh, are you having troubles back home?" Donna asked softly, turning round fully to speak to Frank. She smiled as Gerard stumbled into the room, pyjama-clad like he had been for days, and perched himself on a stool by the table.

"My mum...uh...has been having trouble accepting my s-sexuality" Frank grimaced at the memory of her walking in on them and Gerard embraced tightly, which had practically forced him to tell her the truth. Unfortunately, she hadn't liked what he had to say.
"Well, some people just want the best for their children, and they don't see being gay as the greatest thing, I suppose. She
"might come round! Actually, Frank, I'd be very happy to speak to her about it!" Donna arched an eyebrow, a hand moved onto her hip. It was obvious where Gerard got his general 'sass' from.

"T-that would be great. Uh, could you come with me now, when I leave?" Frank asked, somewhat timidly, grabbing his backpack and wallet from the worktop. Donna nodded, and gestured to Gerard, implying that he come too.

""We'll need examples, I suppose" Gerard smirked, sliding foen from the stool and planting a quick kiss to Frank's cheek, before following his mum outside to the car. Even the sweet, innocent gestures were magical, and Frank loved Gerard's beautiful romantic streak, even though it rarely saw the light.

It was a short drive to Frank's small, terraced house, and the car chugged effortlessly into his driveway, tattling slightly as the wheels hit the gravel path. Instantly, the door swung open and Frank's rather paranoid mother stood on the doorstep, arms folding tightly across her chest. Gerard heaved himself out of the car, wincing slightly as he removed his arm from the seatbelt, and walked over to open Frank's door. A proper gentlemen.
"Hello Mrs Iero! I'm Donna, Gerard's mother" Gerard shifted awkwardly in the background, shuffling his feet over the gravel as his mother introduced herself and her son.

"Hello. What do you want?" Frank's mother snapped, rather dryly, eyeing Gerard, then looking to Frank in disgust.

"I wanted to talk yo you about Frank's sexuality" Donna smiled, still her chirpy self, as she took a step forward and followed a reluctant Mrs Iero into the house.

~~~Time lapse, half way through conversation~

"What I'm saying, Mrs Iero, is that if you want your son to be happy, then you need to let him be himself! In this case, that is him being gay!" Donna persisted, going slightlytly red in the face as she raised her voice an octave. She'd been trying to persuade Mrs Iero for around half an hour now, whilst Frank and Gerard sat at the back of the room, drinking coffee and making out noisily.
"What if he isn't happy?" Mrs Iero was growing weak on her own argument now, fidgeting slightly and glancing around the room is frustation.

"Frank loves Gerard, and I don't think anyone can change that. So I ask you just to be more accepting, support him as your son. You don't have to be entirely thrilled about the matter, but nor do you have to shout and scream at him for being himself" Donna finished with a sigh, hoping this worked because she had given up rambling on to someone she pretty sure wouldn't have her mind changed.

After a longAfter a long pause, Mrs Iero looked up from her pained the at the floor and nodded her head weakly, turning slightly to face Gerard and Frank, who were currently battling furiously with their tongues, running their hands over one a nother.
"But, I don't want any of that...homosexuality flooding my house! I will not have you doing that in my living room again" She grimaced and stood up, dismissing Donna as she went.

"Gerard's staying for a few hours mum" Frank bit at the lip ring he wasn't quite sure how he'd been allowed have, but generally remembered breaking the rules.

",Frank moved on the bed, shuffling backwards even more so his back was pressed into Gerard's chest, and his legs entwined with the sheets beneath them. Gerard tightened his grip on Frank's waist, reaching a hand forwards to pet softly at his hair, running his fingers down along his nose in thought.

"Frankie, I just thought, I haven't ever gone off on one of those really fucking long romantic tangents about you yet" Gerard chuckled into Frank's hair, rubbing at his back in circles.
"Hmmm...Go on then" Frank smiled himself humself, letting Gerard sit him up so they were facing eachother, leaning forwards until their foreheads touched.

"Frank. This is gonna sound really fucking cheesy, but, the moment I laid eyes on you the first day you came into school, well... That's when I definitely knew I was gay. Sure, I'd liked guys before, but you were different. You were, and still are, the most beautiful human being I have ever laid eyes on. Your features are perfect, your body is so delicate and lovable, your eyes... Your eyes are fucking stunning, I mean, I could stare at them all the time. And your personality...You make me feel worth while when you're around. I feel happy and safe, like I have a reason to keep on living. A-and I never thought I'd love anyone as much as you... You're the best thing that ever happened to me, Frank Anthony Iero. I love y-you"

Anyway, here's a proper update! Not just a filler! You'll see Frank's reaction (cute) and their dreadful day back at school most possibly today, though I'm not sure. Got loads of homework, revision to do at the last minute before school.
