"Welcome to The Zoo!" Chimed an excitable worker, ushering them into the gates, children were running around with ice creams, parents dragging behind them trying to calm them down, hoping they could find somewhere to rest and sit down. There was bright music playing in the background, floating out from speakers, that seemed to be everywhere but invisible. Couples were happily strolling around hand in hand, looking at the monkeys. School children were rushing about, singing and generally making a nuisance of themselves, the teachers telling them off but secretly enjoying their 'Queen' tribute band.
"Wan't an ice-cream?" Frank asked, wandering over to the shop. "Okay, are you having one?" "Yeah"
"I'll pay" Gerard stated "but traditionally the man should pay!" Frank objected teasing a little "What are you saying Frank Iero??.." He smiled and Frank handed over the money for two Mr Whippy's and passed Gerard his ice cream, he licked it happily "I haven't had one of these since I was a young boy" Gerard smiled "oh god, you sound like a grandpa, when I was a young boy, my father took me into the city.." He laughed "Just bringing out my inner old person!"

"Mommy it's a monkeeey!!"
"Yes love, it is!"
Sally peered through the monkey cage with her little daughter Sofia, she loved monkeys. "Sally!" She turned round to see an exicted face "Gerard!" She exclaimed. "Hi! I haven't seen you since high school! How are you!?" "Im great thanks! "This must be your daughter, she's lovely" Gerard looked down at Sofia affectionately, Frank could see the longing in Gerard's eyes, he loved children. And watching the awe on his face pained Frank, who'd make him a dad? Frank couldn't. "Yeah, her name's Sofia, just turned three last month! And who's this?" She smiled. "This is my boyfriend Frank, Frank meet Sally, we went to high school together"
"Hi" Sally said, trying to hide her shock, she didn't know Gerard was gay. "Hey, pleased to meet you!" Frank greeted her enthusiastically.

Hand in hand they walked around, looking through the bars to look at the animals, laughing

Ray sat at a chair in 'Grecio' an Italian restraunt just off the corner of the high street. He checked his watch and glanced nervously around the room at lots of chatting couples in various stages of affection. "Hello!" Annabelle looked stunning in a simple red dress with a matching beret, she was even wearing some red patent doc martins.
"Hi Annabelle, you look really nice!"
"Thank you!" She took the complement gracefully and sat down opposite Ray. She flicked her hair behind her shoulder and picked up the menu, Ray copied her. (not the flicky hair thing)


He sat alone in his dank and dark house. Why did it suddenly feel so very cold? The hairs on the back of his legs pricked up against the eeriness and the bad memories this house brought up. He wished he had his iPod but he'd left it at Frank's house. Frank. The beautiful name made him sick to the stomach, he loved him so much it hurt. He'd gone and fucked up everything again. Frank would surely hate him now. ''How can I have been so stupid? We had the perfect day at the zoo, came home, I had made him a special vegetarian meal, it had been so nice. But I had to bring up the subject on everyones mind" Gerard shut his diary in annoyance with himself. He had only used the diary when he had something serious to rant about, he did now, so he opened up the page again. "I was just curious, anyone else would be, I'm sure he was about me. he made it pretty clear the night I moved in he wasn't comfortable with the subject, and that's fine. I am too and not hoping to get involved, if you know what I mean. But I needed to know Frank's opinion. I don't know alot about love, but I know it's about honesty and knowing everything about each-other, but me and frank aren't an ordinary couple and were pretty keen to draw the line on knowing everything about each over. Which I'm fine with, I just wish he'd told me he didn't wanna talk about it. I just love him too much, I guess."


Frank had alot of thinking to do, he wasn't really that upset with Gerard, he just felt uncomfortable was all. He needed him there by his side, he needed to comfort him, he needed to tell him he loved him. He needed him. "Gerard?" He spoke into the receiver, Gerard replied on the other end of the phone "Frank." He took a sharp intake of breath before speaking "I'm sorry Gee, I didn't mean to upset you, I love you, I'm just not ready, for that sort of.... Commitment, is that okay?" Gerard sighed a relived sigh "Frankie, I'm not either, I just wanted to check." They felt like hugging each over over the phone, instead Frank invited him back, and he did it there.

Ray woke up, he rubbed his eyes, trying to remember where he was, and he couldn't remember anything, he was slightly hungover, but he didn't mind because something good had happened, he just couldn't remember what!
"Ray?" He rolled over and jumped in shock, "Annabelle?"
