Summer Break

Here I am walking over to Mikey’s house again. It’s been about 2 weeks since I met the Ways and I have been at their house every day. It’s nice to get to know Mikey more but Gerard doesn’t really talk that much I don’t really know anything about him. Maybe I should get to know Gerard more today. I knocked on the door and waited for an answer.
“Oh hey Frank!” it was Gerard this time who answered the door.
”Hey Gerard. Is Mikey here?”
“Well actually no he’s over at my grandmother’s house with my mom.” Yes a day with just me and Gerard. Maybe this is how I will get to know him more.
“Oh ok. Hey! I was wondering if just me and you could hang out then today?” Gerard was hesitant to answer but said “Yeah sure come in.”
By now the house was finally decorated and not cluttered with boxes.
“So what do you want to do?”
“I don’t know whatever you want to do it’s your house.”
“Oh well I guess we can go to my room then.” I followed Gerard to the basement. Must be where his room is.
“You can sit where ever you want I don’t give a fuck.” I decided to sit on the floor like a little kid. Gerard looked down at me and started chuckling
“Comfy down there?” I shook my head rapidly to show my happiness. Gerard then sat down on the floor with me.
“So what are your hobbies?” I said with a big smile. Gerard playfully rolled his eyes.
“Well I guess I like to sing and I love to draw.”
“Can I hear you sing?” I said with the biggest smile
“Oh god no, no, no I can never sing in front of people I get to scared.”
“Well I bet you sing really well”
~~~TIME LAPSE~~~
“No way man!! You like the Misfits!! I love them so much!!” I was so happy I couldn’t believe that Gerard liked a lot of things that I liked. ”I could kiss you right now Gerard you’re so awesome!!” Gerard chuckled
“Aww thanks, but save the kiss for later.” He said winking at me. Woah I think he was hitting on me. I was really scared to ask him this but I had to do it.
“Hey um Gerard. I got a question.”
“Okay shoot it.”
“Well um I” come on Frank say it “Well you know I’m gay, right?”
“No I didn’t know but that’s okay if you’re gay.”
“Wait. You’re not creeped out that I am gay?”
“No Frank it’s cool to be honest I’m also gay.” Those words were the best thing I could hear it will be way easier to say this now.
“Well um Gerard I have another thing to say.”
“Ok go on.”
“Well um I um…… I think I like you, a lot.”
“Well Frank I like you too.”
“No I mean I like, like you.”
“Yeah I know what you mean.” I was smiling like a madman. God I can’t believe it.
“Hey can we go for a walk.”
“Yeah, sure hold on.” I love how we can continue acting like we never confessed our attraction to each other. It just makes me feel better because you don’t have that awkward atmosphere around you.
~~~ANOTHER TIME LAPSE~~~
Me and Gerard have already walked half around the neighborhood just talking about random stuff.
“I love the summer. For example the sunset right now.” I said staring at the sky
“I know what you mean.” Gerard was looking at the sky too
“Hey Gerard.”
“Yeah?” he said looking at me. I tackled him to the ground
“Hey what was that for?” Gerard said smiling
“I don’t know I just got bored.”
“Well.” And just like that we were staring into each other’s eyes in a peaceful silence. I then got the courage to do it. I leaned in a little and Gerard knew what was about to happen. After that my lips were on Gerard’s, kissing him. It felt so peaceful. Gerard then licked my bottom lip asking to enter. I parted my lips and Gerard was the dominate one now. But it was still so peaceful and just a sweet kiss.
After a couple of minutes we pulled apart taking oxygen finally into our lungs. Gerard just looked at me in my lust filled eyes.
“Wow. Frank. I-I um, will you be my boyfriend?” I looked at him a grinned and gave him another kiss.
“Well I will take that as a yes.” We both giggled and finally got up from the ground and walked back home hand in hand.
“Hey Frank, do you want to spend the night? I don’t think mom and Mikey will be home until tomorrow afternoon.”
“Ok yeah. I just need to get my stuff.” I said grinning
“Ok.” Gerard said smiling back
I ran home and got all my things together and told my mom I was staying at Mikey’s house. As I was walking back to Gerard’s I noticed how happy I was. I haven’t been this happy in a long time. I walked through the door into Gerard’s room. It was already getting really late so we decided to go to bed. I got into Gerard’s soft, warm, cozy bed and laid down. After a couple of minutes I saw Gerard walk in and lay on the bed also. He put his arms around me and cuddled me.
“Goodnight Frankie.” He said kissing my head
“Goodnight Gee.” And with that I fell into another peaceful, happy slumber.
