Our Lady Of Sorrows

After my mom and I got to talk, I headed upstairs and pulled out my phone to call my dad. My dad and I didn't talk for very long, he had the same questions as my mom did, but somewhere in our conversation he said he would kill Gerard, I couldn't help but laugh at that.

****** 4 months later******

I am now a full 7 months pregnant. Gerard take me to the doctor for every appointment, I don't look at him or talk to when when he tries to talk to me. But if he has any questions about the baby or my pregnancy I'll answer him.

We had just gotten back from the doctors and Gerard was supposed to be driving me home, but instead he made a wrong turn and started to go in a different direction.

"Uh, Gerard, where at you going."

"I am taking you out for ice cream."

"I have some at home, I'd really rather not been seen in public as a pregnant teenager." I told him.

"Then you can stay in the car, but if you do that means I will probably get your order wrong."

"You know what I like." I said as he pulled up to a ice cream shop.

"True, but the baby can change your taste buds." He said then winked and got out of the car.

Fuck him. He knows how much I love ice cream.

My plan was to stay in the car but the baby was telling me how much it wanted strawberry ice cream right now, different from what I would normally get. I tried to stay in the car to prove a point to Gerard but my cravings got the better of me and I walked out of the car and stood next to Gerard.

Since there was no way to hide the baby now that I was so far along. My mom and I went shopping for new clothes, in all of them I looked with child but I didn't really have a choice.

Gerard smiled as I stood next to him and ordered,

"See, I was gonna get you the wrong flavor." He smirked and payed for it.

I started to walk to the car but he grabbed my arm and stopped me.

"I was thinking we could talk for a minute." He said and gestured to the tabled outside of the shop.

"No."

"Please."

"If it's not about the baby then no."

"It is."

I took a deep breath then sat down.

"I was talking to my mom and she said she wanted to be there, you know as you pushed."

"My mothers not even going to be in the room as I push."

"Will I?" He asked.

"Yes of course."

"Thank you." He smiled.

"Anything else?"

"Yeah, my mom wants to throw you a baby shower and-"

"No." I stopped him before he could continue.

"Okay, one last thing. Please don't forget that I love you and always will."

"Gerard, I said no." I said and I started crying.

Stupid hormones.

"Hey please don't cry." He said as he came over to me and rubbed my back.

"T-this I-isn't f-f-fair, you shouldn't h-have to l-love me b-because I'm only gonna b-break your h-heart and I-I shouldn't l-l-love you b-because you broke my heart." I sobbed

"How did I break your heart?" He asked quietly.

"By putting a baby in me and making me give it up! By loving me so much and making me hurt you! By making me fall in love you!" I said.

"I would say I'm sorry but I'm not." I looked up at him.

"I wanted you to love me, and I love you and out child so much it hurts. I'm sorry for everything else, but not because you love me, because I will always love you."

"Please take me home." I begged.

"Okay." He said and he drove me home.

He walked me to the door like he always does and then gave me a sad smile before walking away. As soon as he left the baby softly kicked me. The entire time Gerard and I had been talking it hasn't kicked.

"Do you think I'm doing the right thing?" I asked

No kicks.

"Do you love me?" I asked

The baby started to kick me.

I let out a mixture of a cry and laugh when it did. I ran my hands over my bump and spent the rest of the night talking to the baby.
