My Honest Observation

(Bob's POV)
*time lapse to Bryar home*
I push Lauren into the room and I shut the door behind me. "What did Ray say to you?" I say to Lauren. Lauren just shrugs and her phone goes off. She quickly reads it.
(Lauren POV)
My phone goes off and I check it to see if I got a message.
Ray: hey, you ok?
Me: uh. Yeah. I guess. Bob is trying to get me to say what you said to me.
Ray: oh
me: yeah…
Bob stared at me, fuming with anger. "What did he do?!" I say nothing. "He didn't do a damn thing." I state. Bob rolls his eyes. "If he touches you, I swear to god, I'll snap his neck, rip off his head and pour soil in his neck and plant flowers in his neck." Bob threatens. I get off the couch and I walk towards the door. I slowly open it, despise Bob's protests and he tries to pull me back in and I kick him away and I quickly run out of the door. I rush to the front entrance and I sprint out. I sprint down the driveway and down the street. I run to a nearby park and I wheeze and I pull my phone out. I call Ray and I greedily gasp for breath. "R…Ray… can… can we… can we talk?" I sputter out. "Lauren, what's wrong?!" Ray asks. I sigh. "Well… Bob tried to get me to talk and I just kind of ran away and do you mind at all if I come over or something?" I ask. I feel really awkward asking him. Ray pauses for a moment and I think I can hear the smile in his voice. "Yes, of course. Let me pick you up. Where are you?" I look around at my surroundings. "A place called…" I squint to see the sign, I press on. "Richland park…" I reply and Ray states that he lives around the corner and he'll be there soon. I hang up with thanks and I sit on a bench and wait. Ray comes in his 1979 Pontiac Trans Am, nice car. He gets out and hugs me gently. "You're okay…" I nod and inhale his scent again, hoping it rubs off on me. Ray helps me into his car and I get my seatbelt on. He gets his on and we drive down the street. It's thundering and the car slides on some wet ice and Ray tries to maintain his speed. All we see the next moment is flashing lights. That's all I remember. Ray tries to stop the car, but both our cars collide. I black out.
