Frank Iero
He is Mikey's best friend, they are both younger than Gerard, Marjorie, and Ray. They aspire to be as cool as them and often find themselves in predicaments that acquire the assistance of the older kids. He is loud and funny, he is usually the one who gets on Gerard's last nerve.
Gerard Way
He is Marjorie's best friend, and he is uncomfortably in love with her from a young age. He has no idea what to do when it comes to his feelings for Marjorie, so he keeps them buried. He is artsy and angsty, fighting back the boys that bully him. He is quiet and brooding. His best friend is Ray.
Marjorie Ellen Asteria
She's known Gerard since she was young, which is clear in the personality traits she picked up from him. She's sassy, vivacious, sarcastic, and sweet. She balances out Gerard and keeps him longing all at the same time.
Mikey Way
Gerard's younger brother. He's a source of grief for Gerard, as he's always interrupting him and Marjorie. He is shy and awkward, quirky and sweet. His best friend is, Frank.
Ray Toro-Ortiz
He is Gerard's best friend. They've known each other the longest and have been through their fair share of bullies and fights together. Ray is sweet and adorable, barely ever getting mad. He is good friends with Marjorie and once liked her. He is the go-to for advice and plays guitar in the bands that Gerard and him frequent throughout their teen years.

"Of course she remembered him, they'd only been playing together practically since birth. It had only been a month or so since they last saw eachother, before school let out. Why people thought six year olds were stupid was beyond her."

Summer Days.
"Oh, so...you weren't going to kiss me?" she watched as he stuttered for a few moments, looking everywhere but her eyes. "Gerard, if you want to kiss me, just kiss me."

Damn it, Janet.
"That intense look returned to his eyes, she wished he would lean down and kiss her already. She wasn't sure when she had started whispering, but he was so close to her that she didn't need to speak any louder than that for him to hear her. "Are you gonna tell me to forget about it this time?"

Late.
“No, Gerard,” She cut him off. “I mean it. I'm not sorry. I'm tired of not being honest with you, and I'm tired of not knowing if you're being honest with me.”

"They sat alone at their designated table, watching everyone dance, as she picked apart her napkin and he brooded to her left. They were sitting as far away from each other as possible, while still being seated next to one another."
