**Gerard's POV**

Oops! Just started hating my job again! All I do day after day is sit in here with a table fan on that blows my hair into my eyes countless times. Due to the OCD I had to reorganize all of the sections into manga, fiction, non-fiction, and crime. I even did so much as to accurately alphabetically order each comic in its section by the title. Not including the "The" most of them had.

Two kids came in. No, they were teenagers. They came in at exactly 3:30 p.m. and had a half hour long argument about who would win in the Hunger Games; Batman, or Captain America. I almost had to intervene, I was afraid a fist fight was going to flare up. They both placed their two issues each of comics. I rung them up. "$23.80"

Each kid started emptying their pockets. Quarters, dimes, nickles, and pennies of plenty. Would it kill them to use notes instead of coins? I sighed, "Take 'em" I had zero time for counting all of that change. The two boys shrugged and left without a word. I rubbed my temples.

An hour later I was not feeling any better. I packed up my bag, and left, locking the door behind me. Maybe that sweet April chick could left my spirits. I began to walk down to the diner, noticing it was getting dark. I opened the door, it rung a little wind chime that was placed above the door.

I sat down at my usual spot and waited for the friendly young woman. But who came to the counter? Not April. It was that fat creep she was trying to get away from. He walked straight up to me and towered over where I was seated. "What are you doing here?" he growled. Ugh, his breath smelt foul.
"I just want a coffee, where's April?" I said holding my breath
"She's gone home. She quit." He said, "There's no reason for you to be here anymore."
I rolled my eyes, "Yeah, great, thanks." I collected my bag and walked home to my wife.

As soon as I got home I noticed a suitcase thrown on the front lawn. Lyn-z was pulling stuff out of the house that consisted of my clothes, pages of drawings, and various gadgets. I walked up the front steps and got a hold of her arms, "What the fuck is going on!?"
She pushed me away, "I'm the only one making enough money. I bought the house, I bought the car, I'm the only one providing! Gerard, I'm sick of this!" She had gone upstairs and began dragging a mattress down. "The divorce papers are on the table!" She screamed.
This was too much to take in. I grabbed the stacks of papers, realizing I did sign a prenup before we were married and I never actually bought things. "Fuck.." I sighed. Tears started to roll down my face, "Baby, please. I'm trying so hard!"
She wasn't taking any of that. "Sign on the dotted line." The look in her eyes was frightening.
"No, please..." I started to sob.

She threw the rest of my stuff out the door and managed to drag me onto the front step. She slammed the door and locked it. I got up and just looked at my stuff laying in the grass. Oh great, now I'm broke and divorced. I gathered my few things into the suitcase and sat on the mattress. Flipping open my phone, I dialed the only number I knew. "Mikey? Can you pick me up?"
