**Gerard's POV**
Okay, deep breaths. Ray began strumming his guitar. I counted it out, all of the beats, making sure I came in at the right time.

I could see April smiling like a freak, here eyes squished from her fat cheeks that spread form ear to ear. I gazed at her through the lights. And gave her a passion look. I was overtaken by the thought of her, and this song.

I had tears in my eyes. I forgot how beautiful this song was. How much it reminded me of good times when I had money and a hot cup of coffee every morning. Having conversations just so she has and excuse to ignore her boss's feeble attempts to seduce her.

Ray began free styling on his guitar. What the fuck are you doing? Wait, no. This sounds good, don't stop doing that thing you're doing.

Ray stopped playing and looked down at the wooden floor of the stage. All that was left was my voice ringing through the venue.

But does anyone notice there's a corpse in this bed?"

I rested my hands on top of the mic and bowed my head as if I was praying. I looked up. Holy fuck, people were cheering! April was crying! She pushed away from the table and ran to the stage, wrapping her arms around me, "Thank you, thank you. I love you, I love you." She choked on tears of happiness. I hugged her back. People cheered even louder. Ray was wolf whistling. I looked at her in the eyes, she looked at me.

"Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" came the words that littered the crowd. I leaned in and kissed her, hands on her cheeks. I could feel her smiling. I moved my arms to around the small of her back like I had kissed her before. The crowd cheered louder, I pulled away.
"I love you April. I don't even know your last name."
She giggled, "You don't need to, it might ruin the magic of it."
