Party's P.O.V

2 weeks later

Midnight has been approving with her training. I was quite surprised with her strength and speed. Mikey and Katherine have hit it off, they actually made it official last week. Ray and Jessica are closer then ever, they always flirt and joke with each other, it's truly adorable. Frank and Samantha are doing the dirty, Frank tries to say it isn't true but we all have ears. Then there is myself and Madeline.

We have been taking it really slow lately, with everything that has happened it's the best thing to do. There are some stolen kisses in the dark and we do share a bed together, but like I said, We're taking it slow for now. I was actually thinking about asking her to be mine later on today.

Ray helped me with the whole set up for it, it was perfect. Today was also the day that Madeline could dye her hair. She was so excited to get rid of her bland white hair. The group thought that it would be a good idea for her to start her training instead of getting distracted by her new hair colour.

I had my arms wrapped securely around Madeline. I shifted and kissed her cheek. She smiled and opened her sleepy eyes. "Good morning Beautiful" I kissed her nose and she giggled. "Good morning" She said. "What? No cutesy name for me?" I pouted and she poked her tongue at me. "No... Boys are ewie" She said. "Oh really now?" I sat up and tickled her sides. She laughed and tried to push my hands away. "Stop it!" she laughed harder and I tickled her neck. The next thing that happened scared the hell out of me.

I was in the air and my back hit a wall with a deafening crack. My body slumped to the ground and I hissed in pain. I stayed still on the floor and heard Madeline gasp. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you" She kneeled on the ground beside me. My back was extremely sore. I slowly lifted myself off the ground and groaned. "It's fine. Seriously, I'm okay" I grabbed hold of the Bed and dragged myself off the floor. "I'm...uh... going to have a shower" I limped out of the room and down the hallway to the bathroom.

I closed the door behind me and I felt the explosion of pain rush toward me from my back. I sighed and combed my fingers through my red hair. I peeled my shirt off and looked at my back in the mirror. The skin on my back was purple and bruised, that's going to hurt like a bitch for a while. I got undressed and hopped into the shower. Letting the warm water run down my body, it relaxed me. I washed my hair and got out, wrapping a towel loosely around my hips.

"Great" I forgot to bring a change of clean clothes. I opened the door and padded back to my room. When I walked in to it Madeline wasn't there. I shrugged it off, she might be making a coffee or something. I got my clothes and turned around to see Madeline. She was staring and I smirked. That's when I remembered, the bruise on my back. My eyes widened and I raised the towel a little to cover my back.

"I-I did that to you" Her eyes were watering, I was scared that she'd run away. "No sugar, listen it doesn't hurt, I just need to remember your strength that's all! It's okay" I smiled reassuringly and she shook her head. "No. No! It's not okay. I hurt you, I did that too you. Oh god, I'm a monster... I'm a monster" She was stumbling backwards and tears were rolling down her cheeks. "Madeline, sweetie, it's okay! I'm fine. Come here" I stepped towards her.

She looked away as if she were ashamed and shook her head again. "No. I can't... I won't hurt you ever again" she said and ran away. Shit. I quickly slipped into my clothes, stumbling around in my room. I heard her motorbike start up. I sprinted to the door just in time to see her drive away. "Fuck!" I kicked the front door and got into my car.

I followed the direction she went in, my back was getting irritated by sitting in the car seat. I tried to see where she went and found her motorbike lying on the side of the road. I pulled up and followed the footprints that went over a hill. "Midnight!" I called out, just in case any body was following me I used her Killjoy name. I could hear the sounds of someone crying.

"Midnight?" I went closer to the sound and saw her standing near a cliff. "Midnight... sugar get away from there. Come on, it was just an accident, I'm okay! Now come here" I put my hand out toward her and she looked over the cliff. "Don't come any closer. I don't want to hurt you" She cried and stepped closer to the edge, her feet just at the edge.

"Madeline, if you jump off that cliff right now you will hurt me. You will destroy me if you jump off that cliff. Come here" I waited patiently and she wiped at her eyes. "It's not the first time I hurt someone. You saw Mikey last week, Jessica, Ray, Samantha even Nathan. I don't want to hurt anyone anymore" she looked over the edge and I shifted forward. "All you need to do is practice, you can control it!" I tried to comfort her. "I love you Gerard, send my love to everyone" she said and my heart stopped. She leaned backwards and it felt like I was in slow motion. I ran towards her but it was too late. Her eyes were closed and she fell off the cliff.

I watched as she floated through the air and fell to the ground below. I couldn't speak, my breathing stopped and my heart wouldn't beat. I stared in horror at her body on the ground.
Madeline, my love, my life, my everything. Why?
