Stick By Me, I'll Stick By You

"Gerard, I'm home!" I locked the door and headed to the living room where he was doodling on his notebook. As soon as he heard me, he dropped his pen and looked up to me with a devilish grin.

"Frank Iero!" Ah great, here we go.

"Yeah he mentioned that he's your fr--" "THAT LITTLE SHIT!" I startled as he bursted out into laughter. "Wow, small world!" He wiped tears from his eyes, while I was still not sure on how to react.

"Uhh..you're okay with it, right, Gee?" I asked timidly. "Are you kidding me?! I couldn't have asked for a better person for you, baby!" He got up and hugged me, ignoring the fact that I was actually really scared of him at that moment. "Oh shut up you, it was only a date. It was nothing," I rolled my eyes and giggled. Little did I know, I was blushing too.

"You may say it was nothing but you definitely didn't feel nothing, Miss." He cupped my cheeks and kissed my nose while making an exaggerated 'mwah' noise. "I just can't wait 'til your wedding. Ah! It'll be magical!" He patted my cheeks and practically pranced to the kitchen. God, he worries me sometimes. "Gee! I just met him like yesterday!" I tried my best to hide my red cheeks, but of course, I failed. "Believe me, you'll LOVE him- Hey, I think we ran out of milk- And he's like the sweetest guy around!" He said while rummaging inside the fridge.

"I'll go get some tomorrow. Really?" I responded to both topics. "Yeah, especially with his last girlfrie--" His eyes widened. "OOPS. Sorry. Said too much. Oh boy. Sorry. Forget I said anything." He covered his own mouth as he cut himself off. He doesn't need to finish that sentence though, as I already figured him out.

His last girlfriend? Huh? Does that mean he just got out of a relationship? Am I interrupting something here?

"Gerard." I said sternly, glaring at him. "Spill." I continued, almost whispering.

"Oh, would you look at the time! I sure am sleepy, how 'bout ya lil sis? Ahah. Hahah. Ha.." He chewed on his bottom lip as he laughed nervously.

That little bitch.

"GERARD ARTHUR WAY DON'T YOU EVEN DARE TO FUCK WITH ME. TELL ME NOW AND NO ONE GETS HURT." I jumped at him and fake strangled him. Although, I really wanted to strangle him for real at that moment.

"Nnnnnope! Got work to do tomorrow!" He practically threw me to the sofa and I landed with a thump. Yes, he threw me. I'm barely 5' and a little less than 90 lbs so I'm, as Gee would say it, fun-sized.

"Plus, I need my beauty sleep. You should too. Gurl, those dark circles ain't doin' you no good." He flicked his now-too-long-bangs, snapped his fingers and did a duck-face, being all sassy.

"But Gee!" I whined like a little kid (that I am.)

"A-a-a-ah." He waved his hand over my face. "No buts. Sleep. Now. And no, we're not gonna have a further talk about what I accidentally said. It was my fault that I brought it up." He said very maturely. I understood. It was never my business anyway.

"Alright. Sorry I jumped on you..." Actually no, not really sorry.

"It's a-okay. Now go brush your teeth and wash your face. Good night, Lou. I love you!" He pulled me into his arms and kissed my head.

"Will do, dear mother. Nighty night, love you too!" I broke free from his arms and walked lazily to the bathroom.

I brushed my teeth and washed my face, as Gerard told me to. I took a glance of my reflection. I replayed the moment when Frank kissed my cheek in my head and smiled dumbly. After realizing that I'd been staring at myself really creepily, I giggled and walked to my closet and grabbed an oversized tee and some boyshorts, and quickly changed into them. I put my phone to the dock and decided to play A Girl, A Boy, and A Graveyard by Jeremy Messersmith, to help me sleep. The song was really calming and I couldn't help but keep replaying the moments with Frank. Before I knew it, I was dozing off.
