I was sitting in the guest room of my parent’s house, I was having Braxton hicks and they were starting to get painful. I was simply breathing through them as it helped with the discomfort. I had been here for the night and it was only about ten in the morning.

A car pulled into the drive way of the home I was in and I saw Gerard get out with Frank and I knew that I just had to be quiet. But with the damn false contractions that was going to be hard. As once again I was hit with the false contraction. I could hear footsteps coming up the steps that lead to the bedrooms and my door opened. Frank stepped in and knew that something was wrong.

“Mikey, I know you’re mad but- Are you in labor?”Frank asked as he walked in slowly. I was still pissed at him.

I ignored him and I was hit with a false contraction once more. This kid was putting me through hell. I just kept breathing at a steady rate until the pain eased up.

“Mikey please I need to know if you’re in labor so I can take you to the hospital”Frank was about to put his hand on the bump that held our child when I slapped his hand away. “Mikey I had no idea that you thought of yourself that way, do you know that every little thing you do turns me on? Michael I didn’t go to work today I called Gerard and asked if he knew where you were and I then found out that you weren’t there so I knew you would be here. Mikey please, I have been worried sick about you, I love you”

“Frank I think we need to get to that hospital now”I whimpered as I was hit with a contraction once more.

My husband jumped to his feet and helped me up and down the stairs, seeing as I was as large as a house. The baby’s room had been done a week ago in yellows and whites; because Frank and I might want more children.

As the next contraction hit this was more painful than the others. Frank grabbed my hand to give me a comfort, my breathing wasn’t working now so I gave Frank’s hand a squeeze. When I looked back at him after the pain had lessened Frank was looking at me funny.

“What the hell happened to you”I asked and Frank just looking at his hand and getting up from the floor. Gerard came up to us and looked at Frank in concern.
“Frank you might want to be timing these”I whimpered as I was hit by the next wave of pain. Gerard grabbed my hand and I squeezed it as walking only seemed to make them worse.
When it stopped I looked to see my brother close to tears. “Two minutes long”Frank kinda pushed me along; when we got to the car I was having a contraction again.

“Shit, shit, shit. Frank this really fucking hurts right now”I was on the verge of tears. This was so painful; it felt like I was having my muscles trying to suffocate the baby.

“I know Mikey, let’s get you to the hospital so we know that you’re alright you’re way to early; even for a fertile”Frank was calm and trying to reassure me, or maybe he was just trying to calm us both down.

“Frank I’m sorry for how I acted, I just had hormones in my system and it made me lash out. I am so sorry Frank. I love you”I rushed to tell him before the next contraction would be coming soon. The second we hit the hospital, contraction starts. “Ow”

The small whimper makes its way through my throat. I just kinda sit there waiting for the pain to stop. When the pain ends a nurse comes rushing to the side of the car. A wheelchair being pushed with her as she runs to where we are. The next contraction was about thirty seconds long and right after my last contraction.
“Frank…”I whimpered tears in my eyes. The pain was still intense and hurt like hell.

“Shh…Mikey you can do this, I’m right here and nothing is going to happen to you or the baby”Frank was right behind me the entire time I was being rushed to a private labor and birth room. Being Iero-Way had its power as both last names had power.

I was taken into the room and then had a contraction once more. “Fuck, damn it Frank tell me again why the hell did we want kids when you’re putting me through this shit”I was so close to crying.

Doctor Toro walked in and did something and shook his head after touching my bump. “Mikey you’re in false labor, this is nothing compared to real labor but I will keep you here and see if your hips have started to widen yet.”

Dr. Toro got to close to my area. I got really uncomfortable and went to shift my weight when a contraction hit. I evened my breathing out, fuck it. “Frank get your sexy ass over here and hold my fucking hand”I growled and Frank’s hand was in mine.

The contraction ended and the doctor went back to touching me. “What the hell? My husband is in the room and your just going to start touching me?”I was close to yelling but a contraction hit again.

“Mr. Iero-Way I am feeling the ligament and seeing how soft it is and if your hips are spreading like they should for birth when that happens and so far the front feels fine. But I would like you to please lean forward a bit so I can get to the ligament in the back and see if it is at the right tenderness but right now what your feeling that tightness that is your hips widening.”I leaned over as far as I could and once again the doctor went back to his job.

“Mikey you are fine I just want to say that you look great and for how far along you are that is amazing”As soon as that happens I smile and every bit of tension that i felt was gone. I sat on the hospital bed for ten minutes and nothing happened. “Alright you two you can go just please no sex, spicy foods, walking to a mimimim and I need you to tell me how long you were having these contractions”

“It started two hours ago and at first it was just uncomfortable then got really painful”I told him as that was the truth.

“Ok I want you on bed rest for two weeks as little walking and standing as little as posible please. Frank if I am correct you went on leave yesterday, correct?”

“Yes I did, I took a early leave of absence so I could look after Mikey”Frank told him as my husband placed me in a wheel chair to take me out to the car.

When Frank and I got home I was tired so I told Frank to please just place me in bed. But a head shake was what I got.

“Michael James Iero-Way you need to eat and have some blood before you go to bed at noon. Knowing you, you didn’t have any blood at all so I will sit you down on the couch but before that do you need to use the restroom?”Frank used my full name so I knew I was in deep shit.

“No I don’t need to go to the bathroom and Frank I did eat this morning at nine so I’m not hungry but I would really like to curl up with my husband and take a nap”I told Frank as he turned and walked to our room.

“I think that we can do that, I will hold you close and keep you warm my dear and my little girl”Frank set me down on the bed and leaned down and kissed my large bump. Just as Frank did this where his lips were on my clothed stomach, the baby kicked and quite hard as well.
“Damn this kid is going to start a mosh pit at a concert one of these days you watch”I told Frank as I leaned over and laid down slowly as to not pass out. Frank laughed and wrapped his arms around my bump and I; pulling the two of use close.

“I love you Mikey”Frank whispered in my ear, his breath tickling my ear

“I love you more Frank”I whispered back to Frank as I turned my head and kissed my husband and we both fell asleep.
