Struggling with more Ways than one

~Mikey's POV~
I sit with my head in my hands in the padded hospital chair as the doctors fix up my brother. They're trying to get the alcohol out of his bloodstream, his jaw fixed, stitches for where the bottle hit him and just everything's falling apart. I hate seeing him like this. When ever something goes wrong for him instead of facing his problems he runs back to what he always runs to.
Alcohol.
Every time he runs back he relapses worse and worse and this time I think has been the worst I can remember. We've never had to take him to the hospital before, but honestly he's never been in this kind of situation before. The girl he loves is missing and I cant blame him for being paranoid, I would be If Frankie went missing.
I lay my head in Frankie's lap, stroking the stitches he had to get from Gerard's drunken rage. He winces and I kiss his wound in apology and look up to him and mouth sorry.
"It's okay." He ruffles my hair and pecks my lips.
God I love him to death.
I look over to my brother to see his face un-bloodied and stitches closing the gash in his face, an IV in his right arm pumping in fresh blood and in his left medicine to decrease the intensity of his forthcoming hangover. I sigh and try not to cry into Frankie's lap, I can't stand to see Gerard like this. Especially when I've seen him so happy.
The doctor's usher us out so that they can perform Gerard's Jaw surgery.
Frankie and I wait in the lobby for several hours only to return to the room to see a drugged Gee. His head is in a wrap and he can't really talk, I'm sure this bothers him immensely. He writes to us, but then begins crying and the cotton balls the doctors put in his mouth need to be replaced because he sobs them out. The doctors come back into the room and replace them, they teach us how to replace them in case they fallout again.
I hate seeing Gerard like this. He's practically paralyzed mentally and physically. I just want Fletcher back, and by the look and Frankie's face I'm reassured I'm not the only one.
