Struggling with more Ways than one

I barley make it through the rest of the day after the incident with Gerard. He's new and I cant have him stressing out over such a nonentity like myself. I was about to head into the bathroom to cut again when a lanky hand stopped me.
"Youre in my math class right?" He mumbles awkwardly.
I giggle and recall seeing him a couple of times in the math room.
"Yeah I think so." I study him over a couple times. He's tall and skinny, his glasses fall off his long nose, his brandy hair is consistently covered by a beanie, and his brown eyes remind me of coffee beans.
"Would you mind helping me with the homework?" he asks.
"Sure."
"Your name's Fletcher right?"
"Yeah, I'm sorry to ask but what is yours?" I feel myself blush.
"Mikey." He sticks out his hand and I oblige to shake it. We wait until everyone else either leaves or boards the buses to go home before we get to work. We sit on the dew'd grass and pull out our binders.
"see what I don't get is this." he points at our calculus worksheet. I look at his work and see he's consistently forgetting to carry his numbers.
"Dude, you keep forgetting to carry your numbers." I laugh.
"Yeah, I've never been good at that."
"Don't worry," I say with a smile, "theres a myriad of things I've never been good at."
"Like what?" Mikey asks laying back on the grass.
"Making friends." I mumble
"Youre doing that right now,"
I look at him shocked and then I hug him.
"Thank you," I mutter "You have no idea how much this means to me." I feel tears coming on and one slips out but Mikey wipes it away.
"Dude c'mon don't cry." He says trying to cheer me up, "What's your favorite band or bands rather because I know I can't pick one." He chuckles at himself.
"Misfits or smashing pumpkins." I look up at him and see his face light up with glee.
"Me too!" he exclaims
"Converse or Vans."
"Converse."
"Same."
"Can I ask you a question?" he asks leaning in.
"Knock yourself out."
"Do you like unicorns?"
"Of course Mikey!" I laugh and fall back onto the wet grass. Mikey and I continued chatting until the sun went down and then he had to go home.
"Shit I gotta get home." He mumbled packing up his stuff.
"See you tomorrow." I wave him off.
"Are you gonna walk home?" He asks. I stay quiet a moment before informing my new friend of my situation.
"I don't have a home."
Mikey's face falls and he takes my hand in his.
"You can stay with me tonight if you need to."
"Really?" I ask shocked at his offer.
"Of course, I'm sure my brother won't mind."
"Alright."
Mikey lets go of my hand and we stroll to his house which surprisingly isn't that far away from our school. He opens up the door for me and leads me to his room. Its has quite a few unicorn posters and I wouldn't be surprised if he turned out to be a brony. The other posters are of Misfits, pumpkins and other amazing bands. "I'm gonna sleep here tonight, you can sleep on the floor or the couch." he says
"I'll take the couch."
"Mmmkay." I drop my stuff off in Mikey's room and head downstairs to make myself at home. All the lights are off and its late so I grab a blanket and try to sleep. I am startled by a big mysterious figure who heads upstairs. I then hear someone yelling at Mikey.
"Why the hell is there a girl in our house Michael?!"
"Dude you know what I am she has no home so I let her crash here."
"You didn't think of asking me first?"
"What is it not okay?"
"No, its fine I was just startled to see a girl sleeping downstairs is all."
"Alright, Goodnight Gerard."
"Night Mikes."
Gerard. It cant be Mr. Way. Can it?
He comes downstairs and greets me.
"Evening Fletcher."
It has to be him, as creepy as it is I am probably sleeping in my art teachers house.
He turns on the desk light and as soon as I see those hazel eyes I know my assumptions are true.

And then... THERE WAS MIKEY :D <3 Sorry for short chapters I promise there will be more in future updates. I updated chapter with what was going to be chapter 3 but it was way (Gerard and Mikey ;D) too short.
