The Chow-Mein Collective
I broke the kiss apart as Gerard led me to the bedroom, our hands interlocked.I took deep breaths as I tried to wrap my mind around the past half an hour. Once Gerard had us in the bedroom, his hands found the hem of my shirt as I pressed my lips against his, moaning softly as his tongue flicked my lip ring. My hands wandered down Gerard’s side, my fingers sliding underneath the waistband of his pants as he broke this kiss to pull my shirt over my head. I clumsily reached up and grabbed my shirt, tugging it back down over my exposed chest, my cheeks red as I kissed Gerard again. “Why?” Gerard whispered into the kiss.
“We can’t.” I muttered back, our lips moving in sync again. Gerard grabbed my hips and spun us until I was leant against the wall, his hands working their way down the back of my thighs until he had a good grip, lifting me so I could wrap my legs around his waist.
“I wanna fuck though Frankie.” Gerard moaned as his lips found their way down my neck and too my sweet spot, sucking slightly as I threw back my head, my lips forming a perfect o.
“So do I Gee.” I moaned as he suckled my neck. “But we can’t, not yet.” I panted, my breathing coming in short gasps as he bit down softly. “It has to be special.”
“Mhmmm.” Gerard moaned into my neck, his soft lips trailing kisses along my jawline before meeting mine in a passionate dance.
“Fuck baby.” I moaned as Gerard slid me to the floor, my feet thudding softly as the hit the carpet.
“Lets. Make. Coffee.” Gerard said, punctuating each word with a kiss. He grabbed my hand and led me from the bedroom, lifting me onto a crimson bar stool at the breakfast bar.

“What d’you wanna watch?” Gerard asked as we dropped to the couch, our hands interlocked as they rested on his thigh.
“Whatevers on.” I answered as my eyes met his, a blush creeping up my neck as he smiled. Gerard flicked through the TV guide settling on some documentary about big cats before placing the remote onto the table. “I love you.” I whispered as he placed his arms around me.
“I never stopped.” Was his reply, his heart pounding against my cheek as I rested my head on his chest. On the TV, the cats were fighting for dominance (I think) but the room was filled with something more distracting.
“Gee, I know you are going to tell me not too, but I have to apologise, for everything. For leaving you, for not telling you I was getting married.” I paused to take a deep breath. “For breaking your heart.”
“Frankie, you’re right saying I’m going to tell you not to apologise, but I know why you are. I just...I did some mean stuff as well, stuff that I’m not proud of, I just can’t find it in me to say I’m sorry because what happened then? It made our feelings for each other stronger. I loved you then, and I love you now.” I looked up into his hazel eyes, the gleam in them showing true honesty as he gazed down at me.
“I’m sorry for earlier too.” I whispered, slightly embarrassed by the direction the conversation could take. “For stopping us before we could get anywhere.”
“Don’t apologise. I can’t pretend to know why you did, I just respect your decision.” He smiled as he placed a kiss on the end of my nose.
“I just wanna show you how much this means to me, that I’m not going to hurt you this time.” I muttered, wrapping my arms tightly around his waist, inhaling the perfect scent of the man I love.
“I’m hungry.” Gerard announced as the ending credits rolled up. “Wanna order take out?” He asked as he shifted slightly so he could free his leg from underneath me.
“I don’t have any money to get it.” I stammered.
“My treat.” He muttered as he placed a kiss on my cheek before climbing to his feet and walking slowly to the kitchen.
“I can’t…” I began as I followed him.
“Yes you can. You gave me back the person I love so I’ll buy you food.” He smiled, his fingers lingering on a picture of Bandit as he grabbed the menus.
“Where is Bandit and Lyn-z?” I asked as a tear worked it’s way down Gerard’s face, a nostalgic smile spreading it’s way across his lips.
“At this minute in time, I don’t know. Bandit is wherever Lyn-z took her, and that could be anywhere.” He muttered as he grabbed a Chinese menu. “How does chow-mein sound?”
“Uh…”
“I know, without meat. I haven’t forgotten.” He smiled, kissing my forehead as he dialled the take-out number.
I crossed my legs underneath me as we sat with the plates of food on our laps, the gentle chinking of cutlery filling the otherwise silent room. “I know how you feel.” I muttered as I scooped up some more noodles.
“What do you mean?” Gerard asked, looking up at me as he drank some gin.
“Not seeing Bandit. I know how it feels.” I replied, still not looking up from my plate.
“How Frankie?”
“I’ve got three kids.” I explained as I pulled out a picture to show Gerard. “There’s Lily, Cherry and that little bundle of joy there is Miles.” I pointed them out, a smile on my lips as I remembered the day the girls first met their little brother. “Cherry and Lily are almost fifteen and Miles is thirteen next week.”
“Aww, they look just like you.” He whispered as he held the picture.
“I keep getting told that but I haven’t seen them in a couple of months. When me and Jamia split, she took them with her. I haven’t seen them since.” I placed the picture carefully back in my wallet.
“Why would she take them away? You’d be a great dad.”
“I don’t know.” I replied, feigning ignorance. Gerard placed his arms around me as I stifled a sob. “Anyway, don’t let this be all about me. What happened with you and Lyn-z?”
“We kinda just grew apart I guess. One day I woke up and she was gone, a letter telling me that her and Bandit have gone away for a break. It hurt’s you know? It really does.” Gerard explained, his chin resting on my shoulder as I leant back into his chest.
“Things will all work out.” I muttered.
I stuck my hands into the bubbly water, cleaning the plates we had eaten off. I grabbed the little hose that was attached to the tap to rinse of the bubbles, handing the plate to Gerard before repeating the procedure with another. I smirked slightly as an evil thought ran through my mind, my hand acting before I had time to stop it. Before I knew what was happening, I had the hose pointed at Gerard, the water soaking his shirt as he looked at me in disbelief. “You…” He laughed as he walked seductively across the kitchen towards me.
“What?” I asked as I faked a shocked look. “Why are you all wet?” I chuckled as he took a final step towards me and wrenched the hose from my hand, turning it onto me instead. I spun as quickly as I could, turning the water of and sighing in relief when the spray stopped. I took a deep breath and turned to look at Gerard who leant forwards, placing a kiss on my lips before muttering softly under his breath. “Huh?”
“I said payback’s a bitch Iero.” He laughed and kissed me again, his shirt clinging to his chest. I slid my tongue against his lips, moaning softly when he opened his mouth. “We might wanna dry our clothes.” He whispered into the kiss.
“Might be a good idea.” I chuckled as he peeled his shirt off.
I ran my fingers through my wet hair as Gerard came back from the kitchen, the sound of the drier following him. “That should be done soon.” He muttered as he took in my pretty much naked body. I had borrowed a pair of his shorts but they were a little too big, hanging low on my hips as I attempted to get some sort of order to my hair and the make-up streaming down my face.
“Hands off.” I growled playfully as his fingers dragged softly down my spine.
“GERARD!” Someone called from the hallway.
“Fuck, what the hell does he want?” Gerard muttered. “Mikey.” He replied when I shot him a questioning glance.
“Gee…” Mikey froze as he walked into the living room, his eyes landing on me and my distinct lack of clothing. “You...uh, you left your jacket at mine. Thought you might want it back.” He muttered, his eyes filled with distrust as he looked across the room at me.
“Thanks Mikey. You wanna stay for coffee?” Gerard asked, gesturing to the kitchen.
“Sure.” He replied, taking a step closer to me when Gerard left the room. “What the fuck do you think you’re playing at?” He hissed.
“Hanging out with Gerard. What does it look like?” I replied.
“You listen to me Iero. I know how much you love him, and I know how much he loves you but I swear to god if you hurt him again I will fucking kill you.”
“What the…?” I asked, unsure of what had ruffled Mikey’s feathers.
“I’m gonna tell you something, and you are gonna pay attention. You clean your fucking act up and stop with the drugs or you get away from my brother. Understand?” He asked, his face conveying the anger he felt. I nodded, my gaze darting over to the kitchen door as I hoped for Gerard to walk back through.
“I promise.” I muttered as Mikey took a step back.
“Good because if you don’t stop the drugs, I will stop you seeing him some way or another.”
