I never told you what I do for a living

"I guess that makes us parteners in crime." I think about what I've just gotten myself into, being a crimanal. Even though I look innocent and small, I'm actually quite sneaky, secretive and a good liar. I think this will suit me well. Plus, I will be with Gerard all the time.

After lying in bed for a few more minutes I ask Gerard if he wants some coffee, put some sweatpants on, and go to the kitchen. I dig out the coffee maker from the closet, I drink tea not coffee so I don't use it much. After setting it up, I hear the drops for brown liquid hitting the pot and smell the strong coffee scent. I pour Gerard's coffee into a mug but when I turn to bring it to him I nearly drop it. I see him leaning in the doorway to the kitchen, watching me.
"sorry I didn't mean to scare you, I just missed you." He said as he walked over and pulled me into a hug. I nuzzled my face into his neck and he giggled. We let go and began to drink our tea and coffee. Once we finished he asked if I could drive him home and, of course, I said yes. We got dressed and walked to the car. He lived pretty close to me so it didnt take us long to get there. I offered to walk him to his appartment. Hand in hand we navigated the floors until we were close to his appartment. As we got to his hall he surprised me by gentley pushing me against the wall with me hands pinned above my head. He stared at me before kissing me like his life depended on it. He broke the kiss and let go of my hands, pulling me into a hug.
"Frank can I ask you something?" He whispered into my ear.
"Of course you can"
"Frank will you....be my boyfriend?" He said sounding nervous. That's just what I wanted to hear him say.
"Gerard I would love to be your boyfriend!" After kissing again we hear footsteps coming down the hall towards us. We turn our heads to see who it is and I recognize him.
"Oh hey Pete" Gerard said to him. Oh god he's the one from the party.
"Hey, are you...dating?" He asks unsurley.
"Yeah Pete this is Frank, my boyfriend." He says with a smile.
"Um I'm gonna go now I'll call you later Gerard." I say sounding colder then I intended to.
"Oh okay bye" Gerard says sounding confused before I leave the building as fast as I can. I don't trust Pete and I never will.
