Did I Hear That Right?
Frank’s POV
I just stared dumbfounded at Gerard, unable to speak. He fidgeted, his eyes wide as he stared at me. His eyes were as big as saucers, and were the situation different it would have looked quite comical. However, given that he had almost just admitted to me he loved me made my heart nearly stop.
I wasn’t sure if I’d heard him wrong, or if he’d just admitted what I thought he had. My mind was going a million miles an hour, and it was all I could do not to jump him then and there. However, I restrained myself to just gaping at him.
He was starting to look really uncomfortable, biting his lip. His eyes were darting around as though looking for a means of escape. He gulped somewhat loudly, acting like a scared animal, or a kid who’d been caught eating a cookie before dinner.
He couldn’t sit still, and I couldn’t move. Hm. I just stared until finally he spoke up in a quavering voice.
“H-hi… Um… W-well… Whatever you… ahem… heard… J-just… I… I mean-“
“Did you mean it?” I interrupted softly, still shocked.
“No!” he exclaimed hurriedly. “I didn’t mean any of it!”
I stood there in silence for a moment as it to sunk in, just staring before I felt my heart break, shattering into a million pieces. I felt my breathing speed up and my eyes start to water.
“O-oh…” I said, my voice a barely audible croak. I glanced down before looking back up at him. I just stared for a moment before I couldn’t help it anymore.
“I was going to say I felt the same…” I blurted softly before taking off, running out of the doorway so he couldn’t see the tears starting to pour down my cheeks as I ran away, passing Mikey on my way who looked extremely confused. He called after me but I ignored him, blinded by my tears as I slammed the front door shut behind me, running as fast as I could back to my own house where I could sob in peace.

Shortest chapter udate in the history of updates. I couldn't figure out how to stretch this out. Oh well. Anyways- I'M SORRY!!! I know you must hate me now, but don't fret! It'll get better- in a few chapters. I know this is a pretty lame fullfilment of my promise of an awesome chapter for the wait... Sorry about that. Hopefully it was decent, I think it did the job, set the scene, yada yada yada. ForEverAFan and I already have the next 3 or 4 chapters planned out, we just have to write them. Hopefully sooner updates! YAY! Anyways, I'm making this note too long, and nobody ever really reads these things, so UNTIL NEXT TIME~x imakilljoywannabe x
