"You told me you'd never try again." He spit back. I let go, hand on his should looking at him in the eyes.

"Th-that was for different reasons..."

"Was it? Was it really?" Taken aback, I stared at him.

"I was yired of being pick on, of being bullied. Of my life being a living Hell. I couldn't stand getting yelled at everyday for stuff I couldn't control." He looked taken aback but if he was he quickly hid it.

"Wh-where am I?" Change of subject I see. "A-am I dead?"

"No Frankie, far from it. You're in the hospital. I couldn't let you die, now could I?" He tried to laugh but ended up coughing. "Woaaah there, take it easy bud, take it easy." Nodding his head he leaned back and relaxed a bit closing his eye.

"Did'ja mean it?" He nervously whispered. Did I mean what? What did I mean? I replayed today's events slowly. Going back to coming home. Getting drunk, almost taking my sleeping pills, Frank calming down from it. Me figuring out that I'm in love with him, him finding out and running home, and me chasing him, to him almost dying.
