Party's POV
" it's going to be ok," I whispered and wiped a tear off of Mikey's face.
" you promise?" He said. I knew I had to but nothing was ever going to be ok again.
" promise," I held onto him tight. We were huddled behind my fathers desk. Bl had come to take our family to battery city. Our parents told me and mikey to hide. I herd the shots and the footsteps leaving our home. My brother and I were now orphans.
I woke in a cold sweat. I was shaking. Kobra was standing a few feet away from me. I must've yelled in my sleep or something.
" was it the dream again?" He said kneeling towards me.
" uh huh," I threw the covers off me. I have no plans to go back to sleep. I looked out the widow. Little bits of light floated just above the horizon. It's about five in the mourning.
-six coffees later-
All the guys were up and eating some crapy power pup.
" whaah timmm ss?" A voice said. I started laughing. Check had her hair in a bun and still was waring her clothes from last night.
" it's almost seven," jet said handing her a can of pup.
" gross," she muttered getting some coffee.
" we have to go at 7:15 so get ready and shit," I said walking into my room so I could change. I slid into my grey jeans. Then used to be black.... I was about to put my shirt on when I herd the door open.
" sorry," check said walking in.
" it's alright," i grabbed my shirt and jacket and let her change.
As I was walking out I nearly ran into ghoul.
" remember what I said," ghoul warned in a low voice. Seriously?
" Jesus Christ. Not going to fuck your sister. " I said threw my hands up in the air exasperated.
" lords name in vain!" I herd jet call from his room. Fuck I forgot how thin these walls are. I usually wouldn't care but we were standing right out side checks/my room and if jet herd what I said from down the hall she differently herd me.
" I better not of herd that correctly," check said coming out of my room.
" if you herd that your brother is paranoid and thinks I want to fuck you then you diffenitly did not hear it correctly," I said walking into the living room.
I herd bits and pieces of an argument going on in the hall way. Check was telling ghoul she that she live her own life and ghouls was saying that I was not an option or kobra or jet. after a few minutes of fighting the both emerged mad.
" fuck you, man" ghoul said.
" what? killjoys shouldn't keep secrets. Plus she has a point. She's not going to learn if she can't make her own mistakes," I said.
" let's go," check said. As we were walking out to the car I grabbed checks arm.
" we have to talk later, it's not about me wanting to have sex with you," I said using my serious voice.
" so you admit it you want to have sex with me?" She says raising an eyebrow.fuck did I say that, but I don't really.
" no. I mean that in the nicest way possible." I said climbing into the car.
