Aww Pickles, My Neighbor is A Hottie

***Karie's POV***

I left a note on my bed saying 'Byran when you get out do what you like. I have to go out for a little. Please try and stay in this room.' I didn't need my mom seeing him because she would kick him out immediately. I decided to go straight to Gerard's and stop stalling. I took a deep breath and walked over to his house. All the cars were gone and it was dark inside. Maybe Gerard went off once the incident happened and I didn't have to say I'm sorry. I decided to knock anyways. I knocked on the door and no one answered.

"That sucks." I said out loud secretly thanking god for not letting them be home. I turned around to hear the door open. I turned to see Gerard standing there with Mikey behind him. I gave them a weak smile.

"May I come in?" I asked politely. Gerard motioned for me to come, but didn't say a word. Mikey followed him while he walked in front of me. No one was home except them. I could tell because the place was a wreck. Well more of a wreck then normal. Mrs. Way liked to keep things in place and neat. Gerard turned his back to me and started talking to Mikey.

"When are we leaving Mikey? I hate this town." He asked Mike. I stuck up my nose. That was plain rude. Well, I would hate this town too if everyone here, especially my neighbor bullied me like there was no tomorrow. I sighed.

"Gerard?" I tapped him on the shoulder. He shrugged it off. Fuck him.

"Gerard." I said in more of a statement then a question now.

"Mike, what are we having for dinner. I'm starved." He rubbed his stomach. Mike raised an eyebrow at him. He didn't know anything. Mikey was so out of it. Gerard was ignoring me. I needed to talk to him.

"Gerard Way." I said a tad bit louder this time. He didn't care. I bit my lip. Fuck him.

"Gerard..she is talking to-" Mikey was cut off.

"Do you want to make pizza bagels while mom is gone?" He asked Mike. I growled.

"Fatass!" I screamed now. Gerard turned around and was beat red. I took a step back and gulped. Oops.

"You enter my house and make a scene. You make my mom so worried because she is scared your dead. You make your mom cry because you go missing for three days! Then you come back out of nowhere and fucking except me to say 'It's okay. You only bullied me for my whole high school life!' You bully me and bully me and bully me! Even after high school you call me fat! It's people like you that make kids want to kill themselves!" He screamed in my face. I was tearing up. I didn't realize what I had done. I thought people would be throwing parties because I was gone.

"I suggest you leave." He pointed to the door after he calmed down a bit. I looked at the ground and dragged my feet. What had I done? I walked back to my house holding back all my tears. I went straight into my room to see Bryan sleeping on the bed. I went into the guest bedroom and decided to sleep. I needed to sleep on an actual bed and and sleep.

"Who are you?!" I woke up to hear my mom screaming horror. Shit. I ran into my room to see Byran crunched in a corner.

"Leave him alone!" I jumped over the bed and sat in front of him.

"You go missing for three days and come back with a little boy! You have a lot of explaining to do!" She was holding back tears. I couldn't tell if they were joy or sadness.

"I needed a break from reality so I went to a friends house. I met this boy on the streets and decided to take him home. I'll take care of him. I promise." I held Bryan in my arms. No one was taking him away from me. He was the only person I could trust right now. I looked at my mom as she walked out of my room. I was a terrible daughter and a terrible friend. I was just a terrible person.

Satan better have a nice cozy room for me when I die.
