Aww Pickles, My Neighbor is A Hottie

***Karie's POV***

Last night was the big release of My Chemical Romance's big album. I wanted to celebrate, but there was no use. I loved the band and I loved the singer, but he didn't love me back. I missed waking up to him everyday. I sighed and went to go take a shower. I undressed and jumped in the shower. Showing was the only thing that calmed me down when I thought about Gerard. I loved taking long hot showers. Especially with baths, but I had stuff to do today. I had gotten a job at a cupcake factory. It was actually a very fun job. I got to serve cupcakes to little children and teenagers. Every once and a while an old lady would come in and ask for some cupcakes. I guess I finally got a job and that excited me. Bryan went to school every day and did his homework. He was a smart kid. I heard my phone ring. Oh great. I got out of the shower and picked my phone.

"Hello?" I rolled my eyes. No one should bother me while I am in the shower.

"Hey Karie." The voice instantly clicked. It was Gerard. Why did he call me from a random number? He could have just called from his cellphone.

"Hi Gerard." I murmured. I wasn't sure how I should have acted.

"I was wondering if I could come over and visit you. I know that I normally visit to see Bryan, but I kind of want to see you." He slowly drifted off. I bit my lip and smiled.

"Sure." I tried to sound nonchalant. He hung up. Shit, I had to get dressed. I turned off the water and started to dry my hair. My hair was not drying, and I wanted to cry. I decided to just get dressed. I threw on a P!ATD shirt and black jeans. I started to dry my hair again considering Gerard wasn't there yet. After a few minutes I gave up. This hair wasn't drying. I threw my hair in a bun and ran downstairs to see Gerard on the couch. I held my hands over my mouth, hold my scream in, considering I wasn't ready for him to be here.

"How long have you been here?" I went up behind him. He turned and smiled at me.

"From the time you got dressed till now." I blushed and sat on the couch next to his. We were still in the awkward break up stage, and I wasn't sure if he wanted me to sit next to him. We made small talk for a little while.

"I have a date tonight." He looked up at the lights as he said this. I felt our connection was gone. He was already over me. Well isn't this just peachy.

"Good for you." I smiled weakly. He frowned at me and came over to sit next to me.

"Trust me I don't want to go. I rather spend the time here with you and Bryan." He sighed. I felt my broken heart beat once more. I guess we were both still not over each other. I wanted Gerard to be happy, but to be happy with me.

"Why don't you stay here then?" I offered. Maybe we could at least be friends. Well better friends. He sighed and shook his head.

"Mikey would hate me. I mean HATE me." He exaggerated the second hate. Of course Mikey set him up. He was his brother and wanted him to be happy. Cece told me that he was really depressed when Gee and I broke up. I didn't know how Cece knew, but I believed her.

"Oh, well have fun." I flashed him a smile. He smiled back.

"Do you want to watch a movie or something?" He got up to go set up the TV. I nodded and he threw on The Grudge. That duche bag, he knew I hated scary movies. He snuggled up with a pillow and got interested with the movie. How can this be a good movie.

"Do we have to watch this?" I whined.

"Yes." Gee winked at me. I blushed like an idiot. He grinned at me and slid over so we were closer. I bit my lip and allowed it. I wanted to cuddle with him so badly.

By the end of the movie, I was in Gee's shoulder screaming and freaking out. The Grudge was an ugly fuck. Gerard didn't mind though. He thought it was cute.

"We are never watching a scary movie again." I glared at him. He patted my head. We looked each other in the eyes and I instantly wanted to kiss him. He started to lean in to kiss me, and I leaned in as well. Just one more kiss, one more. I closed my eyes. I leaned more and more ready to feel his soft lips again.

"Shit. I have to go." I opened my eyes to see Gee staring at his phone. Ouch.

That hit right in the heart.
