Aww Pickles, My Neighbor is A Hottie

***June 8, 2004***

***Gerard's POV***

It had been two months since the break up and I still wasn't over Karie. She meant the absolute world to me and I still didn't want to believe that we broke up. She was mine and I was hers. I wanted to believe that, but it wasn't true.

Frank, Ray, Mikey, and I had partied all night last night for the celebration of releasing our new album. It was a huge milestone for MCR and I couldn't be happier. Well just for that night at least. Frank and Ray got fucked up, but Mikey and I tried our best to avoid drinking. It's not like I didn't like a drink ever once and a while, just not that night.

Other people were there such as my mom and Ray's girlfriend, but not Karie. She had been the reason I was so excited to finish this album and I wanted to invite her so badly. I was scared though. I was scared that Mikey would hate me and that she would say no.

We still hung out every once and a while, but not as much as we used too. Well we lived together and now I lived with Mikey so obviously we didn't hang out as much. Anyways, it was fucking awkward. We had to tell Bryan that we broke up which was the third most devastating thing that had ever happened to me. The first was breaking up with Karie, and the second was when grandma Helena died.

"Hey Gerard." Mikey lightly tapped my shoulder. I swiped it off.

"No more blind dates Mikey." Mikey had been trying to set me up with some women, but all the dates would end in tears. I don't know how, but I know I couldn't get Karie out of my head when i was with anyone. I wanted that person to be Karie. I wanted to hold her in my arms.

"Please one more. I promise I will never bother you again if it doesn't work out." He tried once more to touch my shoulder, but I denied.

"Fine. Only if you swear you will never set me up with anyone else after this." I offered. I was done with being set up. You fall in love with the person of your choice. I couldn't blame Mikey though. He was just trying to help.

"I am going to get Ray and Frank." I ran upstairs and found them both knocked out on the floor. It scared me a bit. I kicked there sides to wake them up scared for the reaction. Ray sat up and wiped his eyes.

"Get downstairs in ten. We have things to talk about." Frank sat up as well as I was exiting the room. If I didn't know better, I would believe they were dating. They were inseparable and always seemed to get knocked out in the same room. I slid down the stairs and sat on the single chair. Mikey sat on the couch and laid down so no one could sit there with him. Frank and Ray came down and sat on the love-seat.

"So I called our manager last night while Frank and Ray were getting fucked up." I laughed. They laughed as well.

"And he said that tour will be starting in two weeks. Pack your bags boys were going to the big apple." I swung my hands up in the air. Frank and Ray squealed in glee, while Mikey just smiled. Such a Mikey thing to do.

"Well now that we are done I have someone to visit." My thoughts traveled to Karie. I got up and headed towards the door.

"You shouldn't do that Gerard. You have a date tonight." Mikey started.

"You can break us up, but you can't split us up." I flipped him off.

"Let me apply some ice to that burn." Ray started laughing. Mikey gave them a death stare and they immediately stopped. I ran out of the house before anyone could stop me.

Time to go visit Karie.
