(Gerard’s pov)

“I don’t care if you are my boyfriend stop controlling me.” Cassie said laughing and then she went out of the house. Frank started laughing. “Poor Gerard, his girlfriend left him alone.” “Shut up.” I said and he laughed even more. Why is he even my friend?

“Hey, guys. What are you doing?” Mikey said as he walked into the living room where we were. “Just laughing because Cassie left without saying his shitty boyfriend where she is going.” Frank said still laughing. “I’m not a shitty boyfriend!” I yelled. “If you are not why didn’t she tell you where she is going?” Frank said smirking. “I’m going to kill you.” I said as walked angrily towards him. “No if I kill you first.” Frank said walking towards me too. Mikey stood between us. “Guys, please, stop it.” Frank and I sighed.

“Mikey, do you know where Cassie went?” I asked him. Maybe he knows, he had spent almost all morning with her at school. “Mm… no…” He said. That sounds like he know something… “He knows it! He knows it!” Frank said. “No, I don’t know it.” Okay, he knows it. “Mikey, I’m your brother, I know you are lying, where did she go?” I said and he looked to another side avoiding eye contact. “Tell it to me! I won’t say it to Gerard!” Frank said jumping and grabbing him by the arm. Mikey sighed and sat on the sofa.

I sat next to him. “I’m your big brother, now tell it to me.” I said him. “Go to hell.” He said. “How dare you?!” I said standing up and looking at him right at the eyes pretending to be angry. “Bah, Gerard. Leave him. Let’s party, I came here to spent some time with my best friend.” Frank said and walked towards the kitchen.

“Cassie’s going to Starbucks to talk with that girl Frank met and know why she slapped him. Don’t tell it to Frank.” Mikey whispered when Frank was gone. “Wait, she slapped him?” I asked whispering. But he didn’t answered because in that moment Frank came back with two bottles of beer and two glasses.

“For you.” He said handing me a glass and sitting next to me. Then he filled it with beer and did the same with another glass for him. “There’s nothing for you, Mikey.” Mikey sighed and stood up. “I’m going to play some videogames.” He said and walked outside the living room.

“Contest.” Frank said. “Huh?” I asked confused without an idea of what he meant. “Drinking contest, let’s see who can drink more.” Frank explained smiling. “No, dude. I don’t want to get drunk.” I said. I really didn’t want that Cassie sees me drunk when she comes back. “You only say that because you know I’m going to win.” Frank said. “Whatever. I’m only going to drink a glass.” I said. “You are very boring now. Where’s the old Gerard that used to get drunk almost everyday with me appearing next morning in a cool place we didn’t know?” Frank asked. “Cool places? Seriously? Dude, one time I woke up in a bed next to a guy in my underwear.” Frank started laughing so hard that he fell to the floor. “Oh man, when you told me that I pee on my pants because I was laughing very hard. I would never forget that. What was that guy’s name? Billie? Was it Billie? Yeah, I think so.” Frank said wiping some tears from his eyes because he was laughing that much that he cried. “Fuck you.” I said.

“Calm down, buddy.” He said standing up from the floor and sitting next to me again. He then looked at me with puppy eyes. “Come on, Gerard. Drink contest. For old times.” He said. “I said no.” “Come on, don’t be afraid of losing, we both now I’m going to win so it wouldn’t be a surprise.” Frank said. “Frank, no, I’m not getting drunk. And even if I do that drinking contest I would win, so stop lying to yourself.” I said. “Really? Prove it.”
