I went out of the school to see if Mikey was there. I looked around and saw him talking with Ruby Lee. I started walking towards them and when I got close enough I could hear Mikey saying to her: "That red strip you have looks pretty good on you, I like it." Then Ruby Lee giggled. "Thank you, you are very sweet." She said.

"Mm... hey?" I said when I arrived next to them. "Oh, hey Cassie. Come on let's go to my house." Mikey said goodbye to Ruby Lee and started walking, I followed him. "So, how did it go?" I asked him smirking. "What?" He asked me confused. "Weren't you flirting with Ruby?" He opened widely his eyes. "I wasn't flirting with her!" "Yeah... of course, whatever you say." "Is the truth." He said trying to look serious and I laughed. He doubt some seconds but then he laughed too.

We arrived at Mikey's house that seemed to be alone. "Aren't your parents here?" I asked him. "No, I don't live with my parents. I live with my big brother and now he isn't here." We went to his room and I sat on his bed. I looked around his room. He had a lot of posters of bands and weird yeah, but also some posters of unicorns. The walls were painted in light blue. He had a big closet, a shelving full of CDs and books, a big table full of papers and a there was a bass lying on the floor.

"Do you play the bass?" I asked him curiously. "Yeah, I started to play it some years ago and I think I'm pretty good at playing it." "That's cool." He walked towards me with drawing paper and two pencils. "Do you play any instrument?" He asked. "No, but I would like to play the guitar." "Cool."

He sat next to me and we started drawing the story for art class. That reminded me of Gerard. He saw my scars and that would make me hate art class even more. Whe finished the story, Mikey draw almost all because I'm not very good at drawing. I turned on my phone and saw I had 18 lost calls form Dean and a text message.

DEAN: Who is that Mikey that Kindle told me? Why are you at his house? You aren't cheating on me, are you piece of shit?

Fuck no! When I go there he would kill me! I started to cry and Mikey looked at me worried. "Is anything wrong?" I didn't answer and continued crying, I couldn't stop. I dropped my phone and Mikey took it. He read the message. "Is him your boyfriend?" I nodded. "I live with him because my parents didn't want me with them... I don't want to go there... he would kill me." Mikey hugged me and said: "You can spend the night here if you want." "Thank you." At that moment I heard the door opening, it was his brother. I heard someone walking to the room, the door opened and... Gerard walk in! The art teacher was Mikey's brother! Fuck! This was bad, really bad. Gerard realized that I was crying and asked: "What's going on?" I didn't answer so Mikey spoke. "She lives with his boyfriend, he doesn't treat her very well and she doesn't want to go. Can she stay the night here?" "Sure." Gerard said. "Thanks bro, I'm going to bring her a glass of water." He went out of the room letting me alone with Gerard. He sat next to me and was about to say something but my phone rang. It was Kindle.

"Cassie please, come here. Dean has gone crazy, I'm locked in the bathroom. Help me please!" She said at the other side of the phone and hang up. I looked at Gerard and said: "I can't stay here." I stood up and he said: "I was next to you and I could her what that girl said at the phone, I'm going with you." "No." I said to him. "Yes, I can't let go there alone." We walked to the door and he yelled. "Mikey! We are going outside! I will be back later!"

We came into his car, I told him where my boyfriend lives and he drove us there. Thankfully he didn't mention anything about my scars. We arrived just in time. Dean opened the bathroom door and started walking angrily towards Kindle. Gerard told me to stay there and he ran where Dean and Kindle were. He pushed Dean and he fell down. Then Gerard took Kindle by the hand and started running out of there saying me to run too.
