I sat there for a few minutes before moving, in shock that Party would do that. I would have stayed longer in Dr,D hadn't cleared his throat.

"Is everything okay?" He asked.

"yeah, were just having a disagreement over something." I said through my teeth.

"Alright, just don't do anything irrational." He warned, "Come on, I think Kid missed you a lot." The thought of Kid made me smile and want him more.

Dr.D lead me to where Kid was and he ran to me and hugged me when he saw me. I hugged him back and squeezed him till he told me he couldn't breath anymore, he may not be my biological kid, but still love him as much as I do Kenzie.

"Where's Daddy?" He asked me, my smile turned into a tight line as I put him down and held his hand.

"With your sister, let's go find him." I said, we headed to my room, which Party and I shared when we were in Haven, and sure enough he was there. Playing with Kenzie, when we came in, he wasn't happy to see me, but when he saw Kid, his eyes lit up.

"Daddy!" Kid yelled and ran over to him, Party picked him up and hugged him before going back to playing with Kenzie, completely ignoring me.

When night came, we put the kids to bed in the nursery, where they slept on there own while Party and I stayed in mine. I walked in as he was changing. I silently closed the door and spun to face him.

"What the fuck was that about?" I practically yelled at him, "That was our mission and you gave it away."

"And I would do it again if I could." He said

"What the hell has gotten into you? Your turning down almost every mission we come across, the team is barley on the field anymore!"

"I know, I'm trying to keep it that way."

"Why?" I asked pissed off.

"Because we have a family, we shouldn't be going out risking our lives every chance we get."

"I know we have a family, I fucking gave birth to her and rescued him, and were not risking our lives, we know what to do. Were trained."

"And those stitches on your side mean we have done such a good job."

"Okay so I was a bit careless and I got shot, no one but me paid the price for it."

"What if it wasn't just a graze? Huh? What if they were trained? What if he shot and killed you? How would Kid take the news? How would I even tell Mackenzie?" I softened up a bit, but not much.

"You dont think I think about that? Or things like that? I do this everyday, not because I love it, but so they wont have to fight in the same war we fight in."

"I understand that but there are others who can fight the big ones and let us be a family, with our kids." He said, not giving up.

"So what do you want me to do!? Give up being a killjoy?" I asked.

"Yes." He said, I stood back in shock.

"What?" I asked again.

"Quit doing this, quitw fighting a war that isnt about you, I'll quit as well, we can still help out, your the next best thing besides Ghoul, be the doctor here, I'll train people. We can do this." He said getting hope in his eyes.

"Are you taking about me or you?"I asked.

"What? You of course." He said taken back.

"You said a war that isnt about me, news flash Gerard, I was born from this war. The sole reason for me being created in a fucking lab was for me to carry on Korse's work and kill the killjoys. Even not being raised by him, I was raised by the other power in the war, and trained to kill. This is very much about me."

"THIS ISN'T ABOUT YOU!" He yelled grabbing my shoulders tight, this didn't scare me, what scared me was the look in his eyes. The look he has before he kills someone. He must have seen that I was scared because his eyes softened and he pulled his arms back.

"Tabitha I am so-"

"Fuck off." I said turning around and leaving with my eyes full of tears.

As I walked out of the room and turned the corner, I saw Ghoul. Kobra, and Jet all standing outside our room looking at the floor. The walls were pretty thing so I knew they heard everything. When they heard me coming down, there heads all came up to me, everyone had a look on there face just saying they felt bad. Ghoul, who I was the closest with, took a step forward and opened his mouth. I shook my head and stormed past them and into the bathroom.

When I saw my reflection, I looked like crap, tears that I didn't even know had fallen were streaming down my face, my eyes were red and so was my nose. And Gerard had caused it all.
