"Come on John." Jake said stroking Johns sweaty hair. "One more push and we'll have our baby boy."

"Okay." John said and gave another push. Soon the two new parents heard their newborns cries and they themselves were crying from joy.

"Well it looks like the two of you have a-" The doctor stopped mid sentence and stared at the baby, worrying the young parents.

"Dr. Hale, is there something wrong with him?" Jake asked.

"N-no." Dr.Hale stuttered, "Nothing's wrong, it just... Its a girl."

"A girl!" John yelled. "But, I didn't think that was possible."

"It is," Dr.Hale said, "Very, very rare, but also possible." He said cleaning her up and handing her over to John, who took her without hesitation.

"She's beautiful." Jake said and stroked the crying baby's face. "Just like you." He said then kissed John.

"I dont care if she's a girl or boy, she's our baby. As long as she's healthy." John said and kissed the girls forehead. "Is there anything we should be worried about?" He asked the Doctor.

"She will have different physically attribute from a boy, obviuously, her system will work the same as a fertile. So no, nothing to concern yourself with, but if you have any questions, we will provide you with the contact information of the few other female vampires around the world. Although finding clothing and other things like that will be hard to come across, the vampire government will pay for all of things, even a new house if you wanted." The Doctor said with a smile. "Congratulations." He added then left.

"Wow." Jake said.

"I know," John said, now taking the baby into his own arms and making faces at her to earn a smile, "It's a lot to take in, but will be fine. Will be fine." He said and kissed the baby.

"Okay so I guess Alex is out of the name list." John said pouting, he chose the name himself.

"Let's keep it starting with a A." Jake said giving the nameless baby back to her daddy.

"How about Alexandria, we can still call her Alex?" John tried.

"Alexandria Frost. I like it."

*********Next Day**************

"Okay, it's time your Mr.Frost to be discharged, as well as the baby girl. The police are here to escort you." A nurse said.

"Police? Is that necessary?" John asked getting into the wheel chair and holding Alex close to him.

"Yes, it got out that there was a female born and the press is here. I cannot exaggerate the amount that are out there trying to get a picture of Alexandria." The nurse said, "Please follow me." He said.

Jake sighed and started to push his mate and his newborn through hospital and outside. The nurse wasn't lying, there was at least a half a mile of photographers lines up trying to get a picture of the baby. John held Alex close to him trying to hid her face from everyone. The police had to use force to keep everyone back from the baby. When they had made it to the police car waiting for them, they stared at each other wide eyed, just getting a glimce at what the future was gonna bring.

When they reached there house, the press was no better, maybe even worse then what was at the hospital. The police and Mr.Frost had set up an arrangement to keep people away from them and a cop car to sit in front of there house at all time for Alexandria's protection. Jake was putting sleeping Alex in her crib while there front lawn was being cleared.

"Well have to get new clothes for her tomorrow." John said laying in his own bed.

"Tomorrow. Right now go to sleep." Jake said kissing his mate, "We've had a long day filled of surprises."
