Vampires Will Never Hurt You

I look out the window of my room. Apparently I am on the second floor and the house was in the middle of the forest. Frank, Gerard, and Mikey had explained everything to me. But I didn't care. I was leaving. I open up the window and look down. Damn that's a long way down. Oh well, I guess it doesn't really matter that much. I suddenly hear the door open behind me. "Lexi?" Its Frank.
I jump out the window and the second I hit the ground, I run, ignoring the brief pain that shoots through my legs. I have no idea how I managed to get there but in a few seconds I was in front of my best friend's house. Its dark outside and I have no idea what time it is. He might be asleep but I don't care I need to talk to him. I climb up the tree and balence across the branch that ends right in front of his window. "Ray" I call tapping on the cool glass. SuddenlybI see his confused face pop out from the side. When he sees me he hurriedly opens the window and pulls me into a tight hug.
"Lexi holy shit where were you I was so worried." I'm confused. "Why are you freaking out so much I was only gone a few hours." I wonder aloud. He stares at me shocked. "Lexi you were gone for three days" My turn to be shocked. "Three days?" I whisper. He nods. 'What happened' Ray asks. 'Well um... I-I'm not human anymore.' I respond quietly. 'What do you mean?' Ray asks 'Exactly that. I'm not human. The other night when you left these two guy came and took me away. And then one of them bit me and drank my blood and now...' Ray is confused I can sense it.
I grab his hand and place it over where my heart should be. After a few seconds he gets it. 'Your heart's not beating.' He whispers. I nod sadly a tear streaming down my cheek. 'So you said this guy drank your blood? You're a vampire now?' 'I'm not supposed to be around humans because I'm so new, I'm supposed to be unstable but I don't feel and different right now.' I explain. 'Change me.' Ray says simply. 'What?' I ask. 'Change me so we can still be together' he explains. I can't do that. Only Born vamps can Change humans.
Ray holds in wrist out in front of me. I grab it. 'Ray I can't-' I stop. Under my fingers is his pulse. My breath hitches and my throat burns like crazy. His heart pushing blood around his body. Blood.

Stop! I realize that my fangs are out and I was pulling his wrist toward my mouth. I was about to bite him I could have killed him. Shit maybe I am unstable. I drop Ray's arm and back away quickly. 'Ray stay away from me.' He looks confused and takes a step toward me. I back away and fall right out the open window and land on my back. I scramble to my feet just as he pokes his head out the window. 'Lexi-' he calls but I cut him off. 'No, stay away from me!' I scream before turning around and running off full speed back to the woods.
My throat hurts so much. I need.... NEED blood. I stop in the middle of a clearing, searching for something alive. These must be the vampire instincts the guys told me about. I hear a rustling in the trees above me. I look up just as a figure falls from the trees and pins me too the ground.
