My new apartment is almost complete. I got a job.

But that's about it. I need some coffee to clear my mind.I don't have a coffee machine yet and the one downstairs is 'used' so I'm stuck with going across the street to Starbucks It isn't BAD, but it's sort of a last resort place-to-go.
I looked in the mirror at myself and left with my wallet out across the street and to Starbucks. The place was packed today.
The smells of it always comforted me. Once I sat down at an empty table with my coffee, two guys sat in front of me.
"Can we sit here? There's nowhere else and-"
"Yeah." I said. The one with the fro was in front of me and the other was next to me.
"Frank, did you think of anyone else you could ask?" The fro guy asked.
"No. I told you I don't want to go Ray." He sounded really sad.
"Come on, think of the positives. The one you go with could be the girl you spend the rest of your life with." I felt a whole in my stomach burning up my throat and I fought back my tears.
"Then she'll break your heart." CRAP! That was a terrible outburst, they're only kids.
"What?" the guy next to me asked.
"Nothing, just some girl." I didn't bother saying anything else because I'm TRYING to move on.
"Aww, what happened?" He asked kindly.
"Well, I proposed to her when I was 18, and we've been married for 6 years until she wanted to divorce a few months back for some other guy." A tear came out and I didn't want it to.
"It'll get better."The fro guy said.
"I'm Frank." The guy-I mean...Frank said. He shook my hand and took a drink of his orange juice.
"Gerard." Was all I said.
"And I'm Ray. We go to Belleville High and Frank can't find a girl to go to Prom-"
Frank's Point of View.
I kicked Ray's leg and stopped him from talking to Gerard.
"Oh, I remember Prom. It's fun Frank. You'll find the one." He smiled at me and took a drink.
"Thanks, Gerard. I um... like your eyes. Nice shade of hazelish green. I wish mine were like that." I said poking his cheek.
"You too." He poked back.
"Anyways, I just got a text from my Mom. She wants me home. I'll see you 'round Frank." He got his books and left me alone with Gerard. He didn't say much.
"What kind of music do you like?" He asked facing me.
"Nirvana, the Smashing Pumpkins, and old stuff like that. But I always had secretly liked the Misfits."
"Me too! You should come over because I recently got some of their old albums." He licked his lips and took another drink.
"Okay, I have some time. Where do you live?" I shouldn't be going off with a stranger, but he seems legit and what do I have to lose?
"Across the street, come on!" We got up and left. On the way, we talked about music and bands. He didn't seem that much different from me. His hair was black, he talked alot when not around crowds, and breathes quietly.
"Here we are." He said opening his door.
"Nice place." it smelt like coffee charcoal and something else. I liked it because it wasn't like other places I've been. The walls were plastered in drawings, old photo and random famous people. Furniture matched and everything looked expensive.
"You know Gerard, you seem oddly familiar." Where the hell have I seen him before?
"I used to be married to LynZ Way. The owner of Estelle Magazines." He sounded depressed saying her name.
"YEAH! My Mom reads those, and I must've seen you." I only read threw them a few times when I got homework done.
"So did you want to something to drink? You thirsty?" He asked opening the fridge.
"A water would be fine. Thanks." I sat on his couch and put my stuff on the coffee table. I seen all his music in a corner of the living room.
"Ooh!" He followed me over there and I browsed through. "Hannah Montana?" I giggled.
"I was young and gay, okay? Don't blame me." He handed me the water and I took a drink.
"It's alright, I used to like the Jonas Brothers in '08." CRAP What did I just say? It WAS A SECRET!!!!!
"Awesome." I picked out a Hawthorne Heights one and put it in the stereo thing next to it.
"Ohio is for Lovers used to be my favorite song last year. It's pretty old." I started humming the beginning.
"Mine too. My wife said it was annoying." Aww... She sounds awful.
"So... How are you supposed to dance at Prom? I don't dance, I usually just move my head around." I blushed saying that.
"I would demonstrate, but that'd be weird. Especially since you're straight." Wait a sec-
"Are you?I thought you were-" He dropped his glass.
"Oops. Come on, I'll clean it later."
"Anywho... can you like... Show me?" I asked shyly.
"Fine. This might feel weird considering you've never danced before but it's how it goes. Stand facing me." I put down my water and stood in front of him.
"I'll be the girl okay? Now just put your hands right here." He moved my arms around him but it felt weird because he was taller.
"Then she'll put her hands right here and you take slow steps." He wrapped his arms around he and I pulled him close a bit.
"Like this?" I asked quietly.
"Yeah. Then you just kinda move around for a while, but don't take big steps." I leaned closer and started to move around like he said.
"You've got it. We should-" He let go and put his hands behind his back.
"Yeah. So were you nervous?" I asked.
'A little, but I didn't think it was that bad. The way you held me was pretty good." I giggled.
"Thanks but I was talking about YOUR Prom." He blushed and tried to cover it up with a cough.
"Oh. Well yeah, a little. I was a loser though, and I took...her."
"Oh, so wait a second. You drew all of these?" I suck at trying to change the subject.
"Yeah, I'm not good though." Bullshit!
"These look amazingly beautiful, Gerard. Don't give up. Where do you work?" I asked walking over to the other side of the large living room.
"A waiter at the Crows Nest." WHAT? That emo gay bar?
"Whoa. Why?" I sound rude!
"I used to go there as a teen and snuck off there a lot and they offered me that job. But I get violated a lot." He said.
"Oh my god, really? Like how?"
"Some guys would like, 'touch' me where they shouldn't and I had to punch a few." He smiled deviously and went to the kitchen.
"Get in trouble?"
"Not often. You should stop by, sometime. It isn't bad but whatever you do, stay where I can see you. Guys there aren't that friendly to teens like you."
"Then I'll try not to look like a teen."
"How?"
"I don't know. My Dad's clothes?"
"Where does he work?
"Albert Einstein Construction."
"No that's not going to work. Come on, you can borrow something from my closet. I have some old stuff." I followed him down the hall to his walk-in closet filled with stuff.
"You wear black often?" He asked.
"Not really."
"Well you're going to try it out. Put this on behind that wall over there." I seen a foldable-wall things and I put on these tight black skinny jeans that fit me perfectly.
"These too." He didn't look at me, he just tossed them. It was a black shirt and black jacket with random colors.
"How do they look?" I asked stepping out to him.
"Whoa. I'm not going to lie Frank, you look nice in these jeans. I stole them from my exwife. You look better in them them she did." I blushed and looked in the mirror at myself. He was right.
"You need makeup too. Come on."
Time Lapse.
"I had a nice time Gerard." I picked up my books and bumped into him.
"When can I see you again? Tomorrow night sound good? Crows Nest?" He snapped his finger at me and I tried to snap back at him.
"Yes. I'll be there at 9-"
"Eleven."
"Fine. I'll see you. Do you want my number?"
"Yes. I'll give you mine too."
We wrote down each others number and then he walked me home safely. He held my books for me though.
"Don't sweat Prom. You'll be ready." He said. We stopped at the porch and stared at each other for a while. He started leaning forward and then the door opened and it was my Mom.
"Frank,who's this?" She asked.
"I'm Gerard Way." He shook her hand and she gasped.
"Married to Lindsey right? Oh my god! Tell her I said hi-"
"We're divorced. By the way, I was walking Frank home."She hugged him.
"Well that was nice.I'll be inside Frank. Oh yeah, I'm his Mom." She went back in and I closed the door behind her.
"I'll see you tomorrow and thanks for the bag of your clothes. And eyeliner. And hairgel. And-" He hugged me, giving me my books and then started backing up again.
"I'll see you tomorrow Frank. Be there at 11,k?" He winked at me and I winked back and went inside leaning on the door holding my books.
"Frank."Mom said.
"Yeah?" I went into the kitchen where she was.
"I didn't know you knew Gerard Way." She gave me that 'are-you-two-dating-look's.
"I do. We met today and invited me over. Sorry I didn't call." I set my books down and grabbed some orange juice.
"You 2 dating?"
"Mom. No! God, I'm straight."
"Like a circle?"
"MOM! He walked my home, that's it."
"Looks like he was going to kiss you when I came out there."
"Oh really? I would never have a slice of chance because he's too hung up on his exwife Lindsey." I opened to juice and poured it into a cup.
"Do you like him?"
"No. We just talked. But I'm going out tomorrow night."
"With who?"
"Gerard.He invited me."
"He likes you."
"Mom, don't assume that every person I talk to likes me. Seriously."
"I know, I'm just teasing you. It's almost midnight anyway. Goodnight Sweetie, I'm off to bed." She got up, kissed my forehead and left for bed.
Gerard's Point of View.
What was that? Did I really want to kiss him? He's a BOY! He's almost 18! I'm 24! It's illegal too! He's straight! OH MY GOD! What if he noticed? I did get pretty close to him tonight though. His Mother seemed okay with me, but I'm surprised no one found out we divorced. Last time I was in a magazine was February. It was that GLAMOUR magazine and I was with LynZ at Fashion Week. She dragged me with her and she wore a stunning dress and everyone HAD to notice. It's been going on all winter long too, and I didn't leave her side so I was in all those pictures.
I need to get over her.
Tonight was always reminding me of her. But Frank did a good job at trying to change the subject whenever she came in the conversation. I gave Frank a makeover and he looked much older in my clothes, but he still looked young. It's almost time for me to get to work. I have to make it home and change into my uniform.
Frank's POV.
Am I straight? Ray's straight. Hmm...
I've never liked a girl in my life. Not even a crush because no one's noticed me before.
Wow. That's sad. For me.
I closed my eyes and my phone vibrated moments after. I squinted at the bright screen and read the text I got.
'This is frnk. right?-xoxog' GERARD! I blushed a little and then replied.
'yeah. is tis gerard?-Xofrank'
'Ohai! im at work.-xoxog'
'awesome beans. im in bed.-Xofrank'
'with who? :) jk -xoxog'
'lol.yuor funny. -Xofrank'
'*you're -xoxog'
'im tired -Xofrank'
'nite then. cant wait for tomorrow nite. maybe after my shift you can come sleepover? -xoxog'
'sure. luv u -Xofrank'
SHIT!!!!!!!!!! WHAT DID I JUST SAY 'luv u'???????!?!??!?!!?!?!? AAAAHHHH!!!!!!!! WHY DID I EVEN-
'luv u 2 -xoxoxxg'
I feel like I ruined everything by saying that. He probably thinks I'm a freak or something. I'm not in love with him, am I?I should ask Ray at school tomorrow. Maybe he'll understand. Maybe.
I've known him for a day, but it feels like I've known him forever. I don't want to rush into things. No. No. No. No.
Maybe I do like him, but like I said to my Mom... He's too hung up on his exwife. And I'm till in high school. He's too old and I'm too much of a loser.
Gerard's Point of View.
'sure. luv u -Xofrank' he replied. Oh my god, that's adorable.
'luv u 2 -xoxoxxg' I put my phone in my pocket and started serving to all the guys.
I think I like Frank because he's cute the way he acts like a teen. He's more important than Lindsey will ever be. I'm going to have a boy crush on him and just not tell anyone. I wish he'd wrap his small arms around me tightly again, he's good at that. I don't get how no girl at his highschool don't like him. He's so funny and awesome. His cute little face and the way he tries to act older is cute. I remember being like that after the marriage.
He's going to be 18 at the end of the school year. And I'm recently 24, so that's a 7 year difference. It's not THAT far, right?
Frank's Point of View.
"To me, it seems like he likes you." Ray said.
"Really? So wait.. you wouldn't mind if I was...you know... gay?
"Of course not Frank. You're like my brother. You can have a sex change and I wouldn't give a fuck."
"Good. Because... I'm gay. I feel weird saying that." I shivered and the bell rang.
"Just remember... he likes you too. I'll see you tomorrow." He went towards the busses and I started on my way home too. Does he like me? I mean, Gerard.
Gerard's Point of View.
I like Frank. Does he like me? What if he thinks I'm old? What if thinks I'm a cougar? I might be, but I'm not going to admit anything. I lie Frank. I've got to look hot tonight to get his attention. A shower, shave, wear eyeliner, and wear some nice skinny jeans. If he's not gay, I'll make him. Secretly. He'll soon see that he's in love with me.
#TimeLapse
I wiped the table and had a conversation to my coworker Greg about Frank. It's midnight and he's probably not going to show up. I work for another half hour, so I should just leave early-
"Gerard, sorry I'm late." I looked up and seen little Frankie.
"It's cool. This is my coworker Gregory, Greg this is Frank. The one I was telling you about."
"You were telling him about me?" Frank sat on the stool and looked me up and down biting his lip.
"Yeah he has. Frankthis-Frankthat. Damn." Greg slapped my back and went to go do refills.
"Wow Gerard, you look really good." He smiled.
"You too. I'm jealous, I wish I could look as good as you do." I winked at him. The bar was nice and quiet tonight.
"Yeah, you keep wishing."
"Teenagers." Trent said coming over to me all drunk as usual.
"Jared, I'm going home now. Little boy, I think it's passed your curfew." Trent didn't touch Frank thank god. I would've been raged.
"Bye Trent." I said as he left.
"Gerard, what time is your shift over?" I asked.
"15 minutes. Still coming?"
"Yeah. I told you I couldn't wait." He winked at me.
"Your not thinking what I think you're thinking, are you?" I whispered by him. I rested my elbows on the table.
"Maybe I am."
"How old are you?
"Old enough."
"WHOA FRANKIE!" I gave him some orange juice from the fridge.
"Thanks. How'd you know I don't drink?" I left work with Frankie talking about music and I enjoyed his company. I could talk to him like we were besties, but not the way me and Lindsey talked. I could talk about my problems and not getting interrupted because 'it could give me stress lines'.
"Ay Gerard, you can leave now. I've got this. Enjoy tonight." Greg said. I took off the little apron I had on and went in the back to get my things. My jacket, my wallet, and my phone. When I came out, I didn't see Frank anywhere.
"Greg, where's Frank?" I asked going towards the door.
"He left while you were in the back. He told me to tell you he said sorry." With that, I went back to my appartment.

Notes

Longest Chapter I've ever wrote.
Ooh yeah, and I really love LynZ. She's beast, but I would've chosen heror some random girl off the internet which wouldn't have made much sense now, would it?

What does 'asdfghjkl' mean?
just the fire nation thing, way in the beginning, in the summary..... I've seen that before.
Also Frank seems to be having an on-going love affair with orange juice ;)
