Moving On.

Three months later...
Franks POV.
"You need to date, Frank. Your in your LAST year in high school and you haven't found the right girl yet." Ray said to me. I picked up my books and started walking again. My hair was fixed properly and I had on okay-Looking clothes. How am I supposed to ask a girl to prom in 3 weeks notice? Prom is 3 weeks away and I'm sure NO girl likes me Why not though? I'm not that ugly, am I? Ray said he's taking his cousin (how cliche).
"It's only a dance, I don't think I'll go, anyways.I'd have to pay for her, get her flowers, and all that other stuff. A fucking tux." I am just starting to use language, and smoke a little. Growing up slowly. Ray is a good kid, just like me. We're graduating in June and Prom is in May. This month actually. 3 WEEKS!
"You HAVE to go, Frank. Just because you don't know any girls, don't mean you shouldn't go. Come on, You've talked to girls before. Just ask anyone." Ray patted my back and we went into the halls. They bullies weren't THAT bad. Just don't talk to them or don't get in their ways and you'd be fine. Me and Ray made it through almost without a scratch. Hence the word 'almost'.
"Then I'd be a cheap date." I said.
"DO it, Frank." He shoved me in front of some girls locker and she looked really shocked.
"Hi Perri, do you have a date to the Prom?" I asked shyly.
"Yeah. With my boyfriend." She slammed her locker and left. I feel stood up.
"Try her. Her name's Carol." I walked up to her and she barely noticed me and left without saying a word.
So girl-after-girl, no one said 'yes'. I feel rejected. No one wants to go with me. Most had dates and some had plans. How convenient.
"Cheer up. You have plenty of time before then. How about we hang out at Starbucks after school and find some random girl who comes in." I opened my locker and put my stuff in there.
"Fine."
