Give Me All Your Poison... Ummm No Thanks

-------------------------------2 Weeks Later--------------------------------

It has been two weeks since we first got here and had that fun night with everyone. We went to resturants that had amazing food, aquariums filled with fish I'd never seen before, and shops that were filled with girly stuff for Midnight and Marzia.

Marzia's health has been rapidly depleting over the weeks. She was now a deathly pale instead of her natural skin tone, and doctors said it was coming close to the times she had to start saying goodbye. Her parents flew up to The U.K. To spend time with her and Chrysalis and Midnight's parents came over with Chrysalis to make her last days very rememberable before she is condemned to a hospital bed.... And eventually death.

"Okay, is everything ready?" Midnight asked me for only the millionth time.

"Yeah, everyone's here, everyone she ever befriended and everyone she loves, we have all the food and drinks ready and for after the party I have the special movie you told me to get." I replied as I went through everything mentally. Felix was about to bring Marzia back from their day on the beach and shopping.

"Okay! I want to thank EVERYONE for coming!" Midnight yelled over the crowd that we had gathered into the living room of their flat. "You have no idea how much this means to me and how much it will mean to Marzia when she gets here to see all of your shining faces!!! I encourage your smiles and expect you won't cry."

Everyone smiled and some came over and said their thanks while we Waited for the signal text from Felix.

" -Here we come! " Felix sent.

"OKAY EVERYONE! COME INTO THE LIVING ROOM, SHE'S COMING!!!" me and Modnight yelled over the excitement.

I shut off the lights and we waited for what seemed like a million years, but was only a matter of minutes. Marzia opened the door and we all stood up and yelled "Suprise!"

"Oh my gosh!" She said and covered her face with her hands and cried tears of joy while Felix held her.

"We decided to throw you a party with everyone you've ever known and loved." Midnight said. "Anthony, Ian, Kalel, my mom, my dad, Chrysalis, all your old friends from Veincza, Frank, Felix, and me."

"Oh my gosh, oh my gosh. I don't know what to say. I can't believe you did all this and I can't believe all of you came just for me!" Marzia said as she continued to cry with Felix wrapped around her.

"It was all Midnight's idea!" Anthony screamed from the back of the crowd.

"Yeah!" The rest of the guests, including me agreed.

"Oh, but Frank payed for everything. Everyone's plane tickets, the food, the drinks, the hotel rooms, everything." Midnight said, turning to me.

"Oh, it's nothing! I knew you would want to see everyone." I said trying to wave away the mention of money because it wasn't about the money, but Marzia. "Now how about we all mingle and dance some?" I said and swayed my hips while everyone laughed at me.

"YEAH!" Ian shouted from the back. "LET'S DO THIS!!!"

And with that, I turned on the music to all of Marzia's favourites and we danced the night away. Just like Midnight said we all focused on the fun and celebration of Marzia and forgot that we had limited time with her. We cut the large, amazing cake Midnight picked out and after that everyone but Anthony, Kalel, and Ian left to their hotels.

"That was such a great party!" Kalel said to Midnight while hugging her. "I think it's great you did this for Marzia."

"Yeah, that was the best party celebrating Marzia ever!" Ian exclaimed. He obviously snuck into the alcohol.

"Marzia, I'm glad I know you. Even if it's only been a short time compared to these guys, I think you are an amazing person." I said as I hugged Marzia. I really would miss Marzia if she left.

"Thank you guys. All of you!" She said as she let go of our embrace and motioned towards the tv. "Let's watch something, shall we?"

"I've got just the thing." Midnight said as she pulled out a movie. It was something I've never heard of, but all the girls seemed to love it so Felix, Anthony and me barrelled through it. (Ian passed out)

"Thank you all so much." Marzia said for the hundredth time. "I know I keep thanking you, but there isn't enough words made to speak how much I love you and how appreciative I am of this."

"It was the least I could do in exchange for you watching over my Midnight while I couldn't be in her life and in exchange for your wonderful friendship." I said as I hugged her.

"Yeah, this is nothing in compared to anything you gave me over the years we have been freinds." Midnight said, adding in on Marzia and my hug.

"It was nothing compared to your love to be here." Felix said, adding a fourth person to the hug.

"Or the friendship you have us." Kalel said for Anthony, Ian, and her. Her and Anthony came into out group huddle.

After 5 minutes of a huge embrace between the 6 friends we all let go because Kalel and Anthony had to go back to their hotel. (Ian's fat ass stayed on the ground since he was dead to the world.)

I woke up to my favourite smell. Midnight's hair but through the sweet smell I smelt coffee and carefully slipped out from under her and walked into the kitchen to find Felix bent over the table staring into his coffee like it could tell him what the solution to his problems were.

"Morning." I said, my voice heavy with sleep.

"Hey." He said simply without looking up.

"Are you okay?" I asked as I poured my coffee into my favourite mug.

"Honestly, no." he replied as he looked up. His eyes were puffy and red from crying and he looked absolutely miserable. "Its going to take an absolute miracle to save the only girl I ever loved that truly loved me back."

"I know what you mean." I said looking over at him as I sat across from him.

"How?" He asked.

"I lost my mom and my dad." I said looking into my coffee now too.

"I'm sorry." He apologized.

"No, it's fine." I replied.

"Do you think she could survive?" He asked.

I looked up into his eyes and said the only thing I knew for sure. "There are miracles and things in the world that could save her yes, but she just has to find it."

He looked down into his coffee again.

"And I think she has." I said as I got up from the table and got a second cup of coffee.
