The year is 2025 and Judgement Day has never been imagined as horrifying as it turned out to be. The plague has spread like a wildfire. What was once thought of as a syndrome, Sanguinem Potator's Syndrome, has now become the downfall of near- future America. The disease is something you can compare to vampirsm- the ravenous craving for blood, weakness below sunlight, the whole getup. The disease later than spawned a religious cult of the newly turned called the Raptus, which grew rapidly in popularity. 24 year old Gerard Way finds himself ambushed by a group of Raptus and struggles to make it through a new life. Along with the mental and physical struggles of turning even more into a monster day by day, 21 year old Frank Iero, an infamous Raptus hunter, is on the lose and slays like he's the monster.

• Raptus; translates into 'rapture' in Latin
• Sanguinem Potator; translates into 'Blood Drinker' in Latin
• Vampirsm; the overall generalization of the illness that makes you a vampire.

(rated NC-17 for violence and explicit scenes. This will be/is a Frerard story, by the way. I will add more characters once I get further into the story. I know that the vampire idea is overused, but recently I've been inspired to try to take the vampire image and make it gruesome again, thanks to movies such as 30 Days of Night and other things of that nature. This will contain graphic, violent, and sexual content and possible triggers so read at your own risk.)
