This Is How I Disappear
Tashi's Pov
"Shit" I hissed as I looked up to see that Emery has spilled all of his scorching hot coffee on me. He had a suprised look on his face.
"Oh God damnit sorry Grace, are you ok?" he asked me. I nodded my head before brushing past him. I walked into class and went to my locker to grab some cigarettes and a lighter and snuck out. I wouldn't be allowed in school without my uniform, and I sure didn't want to go with a coffee stain, God Emery can't you watch where you're going, I need to learn for Pete's sake.
I walked across the street and seen Frank at our spot. He looked at me and smiled. I did nothing. I leaned agaist the cold concreate wall of the building and lit my smoke. I took a long drap and bllew the smoke out of my nose. Frank cleared his troat.
"I see you brought a lighter this time, and you're upset about something." he told me. It was true, I always blew the smoke out of my nose when I was upset. That and I didn't smile back. I slowly nodded my head. He didn't ask what was wrong. I liked this about Frank, he always gave you space, and if you wanted to tell him, then he would listen.
I turned to face the school when I heard somebody saying profanities. I turned to see Connor punching Gerard's face in holding him against the side of the school. I slowly made my way over there after quickly finishing my cigarette. I stood beside Connor with my hand on my hips, my eyebrows raised and tapping my toes against the ground repeatedly, growing impatient. He slowly stopped and looked at me then sighed. Then he dropped Gerard and stood really close to me, as in our bodies were centimeteres apart. Then he looked at my chest, and bent down so his lips were near mine and....sniffed me. **Got ya didn't I?**
"Grace." He said slowly. "Who spilled coffee on you and why do you smell like smoke?" he asked. I was hesitant about answering.
"Emery." I told him. He nodded looking away but I could still see the anger in his eyes, partly because he didn't like Emery, and partly because I hadn't answered the second part.
"Oh God, are you okay Gee?" I heard Frank asked Gerard, disturbing the silence. I hadn't noticed him coming, but he still had his cigarette in his mouth. He helped Gerard to his feet. Then Connor grabbed Frank and pushed him up against the wall.
"Now, I want you to listen and tell me the truth, understand?" Connor asked him. Frank had fear in his eyes but nodded quickly. "Were you smoking with Grace back there?" he asked. Frank didn't do anything, he just stayed still. Connor threw him to the ground, then turned to look at me. Tension filled the air.
"Why didn't you tell me?!" he snapped. I hung my head low.
"Please don't tell Aaron." I asked, whimpering.
"I'll think about it" he told me and stormed off into the school. Frank looked at me with apologetic eyes, and Gerard looked a bit shocked.
"I'm so sorry Grace, I mean Tashi, thats your real name, can I call you that now?" he asked while hugging me. This is the closest we've ever been, I felt bad for him though, I returned the hug and nodded my head. I guess I would have to get used to Tashi again. Frank pulled away and smiled at me.
"I was just about to go to Gerards, wanna come?" he asked. Gerard gave a confused look but I nodded anyway. I pulled out another smoke and Frank did the same and we started to walk to Gerard's place. I think he still lived where he did when we were kids because thats the way we were headed. Gerard opened his door and led us to his bedroom. We all sat on his bed.
"So you guys were actually planning on skipping?" I asked
"Yeah, you weren't?" Gerard asked back. I shook my head.
"No, some idiot spilled coffee on me, I couldn't show up with a stain." I told them. They both looed down at my shirt.
"Well shit, I can get you some clothes." Gerard said, then headed to his closet, he pulled out an Iron Maiden shirt and handed it to me.
"Thanks" I said smiling gratefully, then headed to the bathroom to change, I knew this house like the back of my hand, Gerard and Mikey both had rooms in the basement and there was a bathroom in between them. I quickly changed and noticed the shirt was quite big on me, it went just above mid thigh so you sould barely see my skirt and was just really comfy, and it smelled nice, I remember this smell. I walked back into the room and jumped onto the bed face first and landed on my stomach between Frank and Gerard. They just kept chatting. I sat up and joined in the conversation. A while later Frank looked at his watch.
"Shit guys, I gotta go" he exclaimed then kissed me on the cheek and Gerard tensed up, then he moved to Gerard and kissed him on the cheek. That was kinda cute. He smiled and walked out, leaving Gerard and I alone. We talked for a while and played video games, just like old times. At this point we were just laying next to each other on the bed, pointing out useless things in life.
"Hey TeeCup?" he asked.
"Yeah GeeBear?" I replied using his nickname as he used mine. We turned to face each other. Then he kissed me, and I kissed him back. He placed his hand on my waist and pulled me closer. After a couple seconds I pulled away.
"TeeCup, will you please dump that asshole of a boyfriend and be mine?" he asked with pleading eyes. I turned and faced the ceiling."
"I don't know GeeBear, a lot of other guys like me, the only reason they aren't pleading at my feet is because of Aaron, I don't know what they would do to you, and you might get jealous, I couldn't do that to you." I told him.
"Please?" he asked.
"You couldn't handle it" I whispered in his ear.
"Oh yeah? Try me. I get jealous, we stop." he suggested in the same whispering tone.
"Thats not what I was trying to say." I told him.
"Then what were you trying to say?" he asked, increasing the distance between us. I sighed.
"Its better to just not do anything, don't get me wrong, I want to but, theres still a lot of stuff you don't know about me Gee." I explained. He nodded.
"I get it, you don't like me." he said. I shook my head.
"No Gee, I like you I was just thi-" I tried to say but he cut me off.
"Its fine Tashi, just get out." he told me, turning around so I couldn't see his face. I got up and walked out and bumped into Mikey on the way out the door. He smiled at me.
"Hey Tash." he greeted. I forced a smile.
"Hey Mikes." I replied then walked out. I made the long jouney home. And greeted Abby when I walked in, then had a quick smoke on the balcony before cuddling with my sheets and going to sleep.
