To The End

I stared at him wide eyed and Gerard just gripped onto me. “What’s the message?” Gerard hisses, I look up at him and noticed anger took over him for some reason. “Well,” the man chuckles. “You got yourself a pretty good looking man for yourself there, as much as yourself,” he starts. “And?” Gerard snaps, I touch his arm to calm him down. He sighs and spits onto the dirt. I looked at him in disgust, Gerard may be a dirty man, but he doesn’t do things like that. He’s a dangerous kind of dirty. “Get to the point,” Gerard adds.

“Let me introduce myself as Dr. Death,” he says. Gerard chuckles and his tense body finally releases. “I thought you were dead!” he exclaims. I look between them confused. “Frank this is one of the leaders of the killjoys, though he is the first and oldest killjoy,” he explains to me, “I took his place now.” I furrow my eyebrows and looked between them still, not trusting this ‘Dr. Death’ guy. “Oh really?” I say not really interested, but mostly what the message is for us. “Like I said Gerard, you got yourself a pretty good looking young chap,” he says again, but in different words. “Thanks,” he says and kisses my head. I melt into his arms as they embrace me. “What’s your next mission?” he asks him. “well this one is by me,” Gerard starts. “Fucking Blind got my baby brother, Ray, and Bob man,” he tells him.

“Oh Jesus, I’m sorry man,” Dr. Death responds with much sympathy. “I hope their okay son,” he says finally standing up.

“The message?” I blurt out, I curse myself for that. The man chuckles and looks directly at me. “The message was that I am Dr. Death,” he announces again. I look down feeling stupid, feeling my cheeks flame up. “Ya’know this hotel is safer than most, so if I were you, I’d stay here,” he suggests.

I look at the building, this place? With broken windows and cracks. Really? “Go on in, I hope you don’t get angry, I was forced to tell you,” he says and finally walks away. We both stood there confused.

“Gerard I don’t think we should do this,” I say and he looks at me the same way. “Frank I know your not comfortable with most things, but we need to save my brother and my friends,” he says. I took his hand and we both walked in, it was completely dark.

After a few moments, blaring white blinding lights revealed themselves to us.

“You are under arrest!” a whole crap load of minions ran at us and Gerard and I were defenseless. It all happened so quickly, we were pushed into vans and separated, before that Dr. Death told us something neither Gerard or I could understand.

“Boys, I am sorry,” his voice cracked from fear and sorrow, “But we all need to learn from our mistakes of love,” he finishes, they pushed him into a van also.

The dark enveloped me after a while and I fell into a deep sleep.

“Frank!! Frank!!” my name is being shouted at me and I couldn’t wake up, I felt my body move and someone grabbing me. “Wake up pretty boy!” someone slaps me and I snap awake, still half conscious.

I see Gerard strapped to a chair and a man pointing a ray gun at him. I finally come to my senses.

“NOOO! NOO GERARD!! NOOO STOP IT!” I scream out, but they wont listen to me. I am rewarded with a punch to the face. “Frank get out of here!” Gerard screams out to me. I’m not tied up or anything, I became frustrated and angry. I run after the minion who punched me and knocked him unconscious, I quickly grab his ray gun and point it at the man who has Gerard under his control.. “Let him go,” I hiss. “Frank get out!” Gerard screams. I start crying, hoping this is a bad dream.

“Frank please,” Gerard’s eyes were pleading. I stare at him, the tears welling up and making my eyesight blurry.

“See you on the next adventure Frankie,” he whispers and I felt a sharp pain to my right side of my head.

Blackness overtaking my senses….
