***Gerard's POV***
Over the past month, I've stopped drinking. I had to do it. I couldn't let that dream become a reality. Chris has supported me throughout the whole thing. She even quit smoking, so that we could get rid of our bad habits together.
She and I have been talking more about wedding plans. We want to get married in October, which will be in 6 months. Chris, Jessica, and Kyliee have all gone wedding dress shopping. I think she picked one out, but she won't give me any details. She says it has to be a surprise on the big day. I know she'll look beautiful no matter what she wears. Kyliee and Jessica are her maid of honors, and a couple of her other friends are her bridesmaids. She couldn't pick just one maid of honor, so she went with both. Mikey is my best man. Chris are currently looking at wedding rings. I think we're just gonna go with a plain gold band, but we aren't sure yet.
My cousin Genni, and Chrissi have gotten pretty close. Genni looks up to Chrissi just like an older sister. It's amazing, really. Every weekend, Genni sleeps over at our house. Her mom doesn't really mind, cause she knows it's only Chris and I. Right now, they were at the mall. Chris thought it would be nice to take her for a girls night out, so they'll be gone most of the night. My mom wanted come over for dinner, so I was on my way to their house. When I walked through the door, I was greeted with warm hugs and kisses from my mom. My dad was at work, but he'll be home soon.
"Hello Gerard, sweetie. How are you?" mom asked
"I'm good. You?"
"I'm doing fine. Is Chrissi out with Genni?"
"Yeah she took her to the mall. You know. To do girl stuff."
"Aw well that's nice of her."
I smiled and nodded, as I sat down on the couch.
"So mom, do you know if Chris has gotten a dress yet?" I just had to know
"Yep! She brought me and a couple of her friends with her."
"And?"
"Oh Gerard. She looks stunning! You're going to love it, trust me." she said in her usual excited tone
"I'm sure I will."
When dinner was ready, we sat in the kitchen and just talked. It was nice to have some time with my mom. I don't get to see her too often anymore since being in the band is so time consuming. We had a couple gigs coming up which I was extremely excited for. We've been practicing so much, I know we're gonna do great.
I looked at the clock, and saw the time. Holy shit! 10pm already? I knew Chris and Genni were probably home, so I kissed my mom goodbye, and headed back home. When I got home, I saw Chris and Genni sitting on the couch, eating pizza, watching Mean Girls.
"Hey babe." Chris said
"Hey sugar.Hey Gen. How was your night out?"
"It was awesome!" Genni squealed
Chrissi laughed and winked at me
"Aw well I'm glad to hear that. Did you take good care of my girl for me, Genni?" I laughed
She laughed and nodded.
"Gee, how was dinner with your mom?"
I sat next to Chris and wrapped my arm around her waist.
"It was nice. It's always great seeing her. She told me how beautiful you looked in your dress." I winked
"Gee! Your not supposed to know anything." she laughed
"Well, I do know that you'll look stunning no matter what. Even if you wore a paper bag." I laughed
She wrapped her arms around my neck, and kissed my lips, which made Genni 'awww' at us the whole time.
I kissed her nose, and grabbed a piece of pizza.
"You ladies mind if I crash here with you guys?" I asked
"Yes! No boys allowed, Gee." Chris laughed
I pretended to be shocked and angry
"Well fine! I see how it is. I'll just take this pizza box, and leave then." I said grabbing the pizza
Chrissi laughed and playfully hit my arm.
"Shut up, Gee. Of course you can stay with us." she laughed
I set the pizza down, and let her lay her head on my lap, and I played with her soft, silky hair. When the movie was over, both Chris and Genni had fallen asleep. I gentle got up, and rested Chrissi's head on a pillow, and picked Genni up bridal style, and carried her to the guest bedroom, which I guess was now kinda her room. I tucked her in her bed, and gently kissed her cheek. I then went back upstairs, picked up Chrissi the same way, and carried her to our bedroom, where I tucked her in, and softly kissed her lips, which accidentally woke her up.
"Oh, I'm sorry sugar. I didn't mean to wake you." I whispered
"It's fine, Gee." she said, running her fingers through my knotted hair.
"So how about you and I do something special tomorrow? How does that sound?" I asked, stroking her cheek
"Sounds great. What do you wanna do?"
"I've got somethings up my sleeve." I laughed
"Oh no, not another surprise."
"Yes another surprise! You love my surprises and don't deny it." I smiled
She sighed and curled into me, resting her head on her chest. I kissed her head, and held her in my arms. I know for sure she's going to love my plans for tomorrow.
