****6 Months later****
***Chrissi's POV***
It's been 6 months since Alice has been re-diagnosed with cancer. These last 6 months have been filled with laughter, and tears. Even though the doctors told her the chemo wouldn't do much, she decided she should just give it a try and go for the treatment anyway. Her pastel purple hair is now fully gone, which makes we want to cry, mostly because I know how badly she wanted to grow her hair back, and now, it's all gone again. Unfortunately Ali hasn't gotten any better. Only worse. She still fighting strong though, everyday.
I got out of bed and made my way to the kitchen to find Gerard and my sister already at the table, drinking coffee.
"Good morning, sugar!" Gee said pecking my lips
"Morning, babe."
"Good morning Chrissi-Chris." Ali said
"Morning Ali." I said hugging her
"What do you want for breakfast." Gee asked
"Hmmm. I'll have pancakes." I said wrapping my arms around him
"Pancakes for the most beautiful girl in world coming up!" he said enthusiasticly
"Hey!" Ali said
"And the most beautiful sister in the world!" Gee said laughing
"That's better, Gerard." Ali said
I walked around the house to search for my phone. I had a missed call from my best friend, Kyliee
"Hey kyles!!" I said
"Hey Chrissi! You and Gerard wanna hang out today?"
"Yeah sure. How about in an hour?"
"Sure, you got it! See ya then."
Kyliee has been my best friend since second grade. She's the only one that's always been there for me throughout everything. She has always been my biggest supporter, and she's just like a sister to me. Gee thinks she's pretty awesome too.
Gee, Ali, and I ate our pancakes, and Gerard and I went to go hang out with Kyliee. Ali was feeling tired so she decided to stay home.
Gee and I made our way over to the park where Kyliee was meeting us. When she saw us walking, she immediately ran over and engulfed us both into a group hug.
"Hey." I said
"Hey Chris. Hows Alice feeling."
"Eh you know, she has her ups and downs." I really didn't want to talk about this.
"Oh well tell her I hope she feels better."
We walked around the park, and Gee pushed me on the swing. It was about 3:00, and there was a local carnival going on that Kyliee really wanted to go to, so Gee and I went along with her.
"Oh lets go on the ferris wheel! You and Gerard go on together and I guess I'll find someone to go one with me!" she squealed as we got there.
"Kyles are you sure you wanna go alone?" Gee asked
"Yeah yeah I'm positive. Man I haven't been on these in a while." she said
I've always had a fear of ferris wheels. Fuck.
"Uhmm Gerard?"
"Mhm"
"Uh I-I don't really, you know... Like ferris wheels. They kinda scare me."
"Aw sugar thats so cute! But they're fun! Come on. How about you just try it out, I promise I'll hold you the whole time, and if you don't like it, you never have to even look at a ferris wheel ever again."
"I-I don't know."
"Come on, sugar. It'll be fun, I promise."
"Um.. O-Okay."
We got on the ferris wheel and I knew that this wasn't going to go smoothly.
"You okay, baby? I can feel you tensing up. Don't worry sweetheart, I'm here, and like I said, I'll hold you the whole time."
The ferris wheel started moving, and Gee wrapped his arms around me. All of a sudden I started to feel sick to my stomach. Oh no, this can't be good
"Uh Gee? I think I'm gon-"
I threw up all over the side of the ride.
