"Gerard I.....I can't forgive you right away..I'm sorry but I'm going to need time."

"that's totally fine I swear it is it's just I need to know that you'll be able to forgive and ill do anything to make up for it." Gerard said still sniffling.

"it's going to take awhile I mean gerard the scars on my actual body are never going to disappear and I hate to say it but it will be a constant reminder of what I've been through because of you." I said bluntly.

I wasn't going to give him any sappy and sweet crap just because he apologized I mean the kid pushed me to the brink of death.

He gave me an extremely hurt looking face like I had just completely shattered his heart.

"Can...can you take your hoodie off." He whispered quietly.

I was somewhat surprised he wanted to see my scars and cuts after everything that just occurred.

"I'm not wearing anything underneath." I told him blandly.

"I don't care it's not like I haven't seen it before or you haven't seen me I just want to see the cuts I'm your brother how perverted would that be if actually wanted to look at you."

I nodded and stripped myself of my three days grace hoodie exposing my bare chest to him.


He sort of cringed when his eyes met some of the newer deeper cuts on my ribs. I knew they were bad. They hadn't even shut fully and if I moved the wrong way they'd re open.

"I....doesn't it hurt?"

"a little but not much."

"If it hurts then why'd you do it?"

"cutting releases endorphins. Endorphins make you feel good their your body's defense against pain so basically hurt yourself and feel good."

"That's stupid- I mean it's still hurting yourself." He quickly changed what he was saying realizing telling me it was stupid wasn't the best idea.

"Listen I really don't feel like ruining Christmas anymore so can we just drop this until later?" I asked but more stated it letting him know I was done with the subject.

He he nodded and I pulled my hoodie back on and went to get mikey so we could all head back downstairs
