Chapter 29
Franks’ P.O.V
*Next Day*
School was finally over and I was super happy, today was the day that my and Jared’s plan started.
I was walking out of the school and was well aware that Gerard and Mikey were walking behind me. One thing that surprised me was that when I stepped outside Jared was there. The minute he saw me he picked me up and twirled me around. After he set me down he leaned down a bit and kissed me. The whole world seemed to stop at that moment and the only thing that mattered was me and Jared and us kissing.
When we stepped back from each other I saw that Gerard was holding his hand to his mouth and he looked like he was about to cry. Mikey said something to him and he just nodded then approached me, “Hey Frank can I talk to you for a bit?” he said not looking at me and giving Jared a death glare.
“Sure Gee-gerard” I quickly corrected myself.
“What are you still doing with him?”
“I’m dating him, duh?”
“But Frank he beat you then just left you. How could you still be with a person like that?”
“Ohh, Gerard, no it's fine now we have it all settled now. I really like him, so I gave him another chance” I lied. He looked so sad with my decision but I think he got over it and just nodded, maybe we took this a bit too far too soon.
Gerard’s P.O.V
After my talk with Frank, me and Mikey drove home and I was silent the whole entire way home.
Just when I thought I was going to get away with being depressed, Mikey asked the question that I was dreading he’d ask, “What happened?”
While I was telling him I could feel myself tearing up.
“Well bro, even if he’s with that Jared guy that doesn’t mean that you don’t have a chance. You are just going to have to try harder, to you know, get Frank.”
“No Mikes, the way they are with each other proves that they love each other. I’m just going to need to face the facts; Frank’s the one that got away.” When I said the last part I felt one stray tear fall down my cheek.
