The Story of Frerard
The only hope for me is you
(Frank's POV): Sometime later, I arrived at the cliff. The whole journey there, I had been panicking about Gerard, who knows what he could of done in the amount of time that he's been alone? Then, still worrying, I got out of the car, and searched for Gerard. I was looking around everywhere- where was he, he said he'd be here? But, then I had a terrible thought- he's already jumped off the cliff, "Gerard! Gee! Where are you?" Again, I looked around, there was nothing. Feeling terrible, knowing that I was too late, I walked back to the car. However, when I got into the car, I looked at my car mirror, checking that there were no cars around, even though I knew it was abandoned. But, to my surprise, I caught a glimpse of a black leather jacket, which looked exactly like Gerard's. There was no time to loose. I leapt out of the car, ran towards where I saw the jacket before, and looked over the edge of the cliff. There was nothing there, until I noticed a sudden splash in the water. It was Gerard, and he was still alive, but struggling for air. Then, I let out a relieved sigh, overjoyed that he was still alive, "Gee, it's Frank. Don't worry, I'm coming to get you!" Without hesitation, I took off my jacket, laying it next to Gerard's, and jumped off the cliff. I soon landed into the ice cold water. I shuddered; it was so chilly in the ocean, that I felt like a block of ice, which made it more difficult for me to find Gerard. Despite the pain of the icy water touching my body, I dived underwater, to hopefully find Gerard. At first, there was no sign of him, but I didn't stop looking until I'd eventually freeze to death. After a while, I was beginning to give up, thinking that I would never find him. However, I finally found him floating on the surface of the water. I swam as fast as I could, towards the floating body in the distance. When I reached him, I thought he was dead, but then I realised he was still breathing. Although, he seemed to be struggling to breath frequently, so I dragged him ashore, laying him on the sand. I was kneeling by his side, waiting for him to become conscious. I was beginning to lose hope of Gerard surviving, but then I saw him slightly open his eyes. "Frank, is that you?" Gerard said, raising a slight smile. I smiled back and reached forward to hug him, "I love you Gee, and I'm sorry for all the trouble I've made. I'll understand if you still hate me, but I want you to know that I'll always love you." I kissed him on the cheek, and took him to his house in the car. I kept thinking, hopefully Gerard might change his mind, and maybe we will have a future together...
