I know it was probably not my brightest idea, but if Gerard and I where mates then there was no problem with us bonding.

I smiled at him when he answered yes.

“That’s not a good idea” R said, I didn’t notice she was here.

“Why not?” I asked.

“Do you know what happens when you bond?” she asked.

Gerard and I both shook our heads no.

She sat down in front of us, “Mikey go to seep” she said Mikey immediately left

“Ok, when you bond you bite right?” we nodded, “Okay, when you bite your body releases venom. If the person you bite is your mate then nothing bad happens. But if he’s not then he dies.”

“What?” Gerard asked incredulous.

“Wit if you -by some miracle- don’t die, then you will be seen as the lowest thing by the Vampires. Lower than a human.” She said

“I don’t care I am sure that Frankie is my mate and I’m willing to do anything to prove to him that I love him” Gerard said..

“And that’s fine….If you love someone then you have to take risks…make sacrifices.” R said.

“No. No. No. No. No.” I mummer

“What Frankie?” Gerard asked.

“I’ll leave now.” R mumbled and then got up and left.

“I didn’t know… I don’t want to anymore.” I said.

Gerard looked absolutely heartbroken.

It made me see so fucking guilty to see him so sad.

I pushed him away from me and climbed in to the helicopter ignoring his (not so) quiet sobs.

-----Time Lapse----

It was morning now. I was woken by the sound of Gerard yelping at Mikey and vice versa.

“Mikey this is none of your fucking business!” Gerard yelled.

“Gee, you’re my brother! I fucking care about you! If frank is making you s fucking miserable then get the fuck away from him! That tramp is nothing but trouble!”

Gerard slapped him.

Very. Hard.

“Don’t fucking dare talk about MY FRANKIE like that!”

Mikey looked at Gerard with fear filled eyes.

“I just want you to stop being so sad all the time.” He whispered before getting up off the ground and waking (running) away from him.

I got off the helicopter and walked towards Gerard, “You didn’t have to do that” I mumbled

“He was talking shit about you, he deserved it.” He said.

He looked like shit. Well as shitty as Gerard Motherfucking Way can look.

He hugged me and I still felt guilty fro last night so I let him
“Good morning, baby” he whispered

“Morning” I mumbled.

“J.R. said we would be leaving today” he said once he had pulled away from me.

“Where the fuck are we even going? I mean I know that were going to Utah but like, where are we going to stay?” I asked

“My parents own a house there So yeah, we’ll stay there.” He answered.

I nodded.

He wrapped an arm around my waist and hugged me close to his side.

“We need to talk.” He said.

I knew we needed to talk I just didn’t know what to say.

“I know” I mumbled

“Frankie…I understand if you don’t feel anything for me. But I feel a lot for you, I love you, honey. And I want to spend the rest of eternity with you. Would you please, at least consider it?” he asked.

I turned towards him and gazed into his eyes

His beautiful eyes filled with hope and so much love.

I’m such and asshole to him but he’s always there for me. He hasn’t left my side even after all the shit I’ve done to him.

Maybe I should give him another chance?

Maybe I do love him?

You never know unless you try, right?

“Just…give me some time ‘Rard. Let me sort myself out.” I answered.

He smiled the biggest smile I have ever seen and hugged me, spinning me around a bit before putting me down and kissing me firmly on the lips

It was the best kiss ever.

Filled with hope and love and longing and we can do this. We can fix this. We can make this happen. We can be happy.
